There are New York Times Best-selling ideas in people’s heads, there are Oscar winning scripts in their hands, and there are billions of people with worth billions of dollar ideas sitting and waiting for the right moment and not starting not because the way to get there is tough, not because they aren’t capable but because they are afraid of being judged not from outside but within; a voice that so big talks nonstop. And they on the surface think, what speaks to them in their heads is bigger than what they are.
One can overcome peoples’ judgements and may go past the fear and do it. But it is the fear and doubt that judgement extracts itself through heavy self-criticism to sabotage ones’ skills.
Imagine in this world, if people were not afraid of being judged within, what could have possibly happened excluding what has already happened? Well, more than one can imagine. But more importantly, ideas that can revolutionize our world don’t come out but stay there for a right moment and denying the moment one lives in. The right moment does not exist because it’s the judgement in the first place that makes a right versus wrong moment and does not make you do it in the moment but wait and wait.
The problem isn’t people think about you, it’s your judgemental voice that tells you they think about you and that you should care about that. Because it thinks they are the ones to gain love from and love is important or else we (judgement) will not survive. The judgemental voice is made of Do what most people tell you especially if they are the ones to gain love from. Most people mean, people who do not live authentically but live with mental attachments of what is already laid down for them to follow so they can go to a job they don’t like, come home every night and get badly drunk and then go to sleep. This happens all the time and everywhere because most people because of judgement just do what their minds tell them other than what their bodies are telling them.
Nobody thinks about you as much as you do, because sometimes there is no difference whether the judgement is in your head or you’re the judgement. There is no difference when it comes to talking about your problems. If there are problems in your life, do know that it’s judgement there, because if you eliminate judgement then you will not have a single problem.
The judgemental voice perceives life as a fixing thing, it outlines a do versus don’t monologue so it can drag you to one side because most people stay in that side and tell you to avoid the other side. So, simply put, the judgemental voice within you builds up two outlines granting one and disguising the other and this is why when you have a million dollar idea, the edge that you stay which is based on most people’s reference doesn’t align with your idea, because the level people live in compared to yours is so small and so you wait because your judgemental voice convinces you that there is a right moment until you die never finding it, because there is no such thing as right or wrong moment, every moment is as it is.
Judgement is the first and quickest voice before our own which decides what we like reading, watching, eating and other stuff based on what is cool or shared by the majority because it hates to be counted as different. It acts as you and most people don’t know it, so they become the voice. They become the voice therefore they bully, want to be popular and take their heavy shit on people who are already dealing with theirs. Suddenly then the judgemental voice gets fed up from life and it does not want to live more. That is good news. It’s only good news when you know you’re not the judgemental voice within you, so you could watch it die other than being it, and you dying.
You may stop reading a book, article from the middle not because it wasn’t interesting but because the judgemental voice said so in your head. You may not like embarrassments not because people will look at you in different ways, albeit they will look, but more importantly, the voice inside suddenly then gets ten extra heads with mouth as big as a loudspeakers which scream until your heart explodes with resisting pain and your chest burns with not being able to do something about it.
You may have a friend or ex whose voice too speaks with you in your head. It talks exactly like him/her but in your head. When you write that letter, article or story, you picture as if you’re telling this specifically to him/her who you deep down, know didn’t see you the way you wanted to be seen, didn’t love you the way you wanted to receive love and didn’t appreciate you as much as you thought you deserved and that’s how the voice was planted in your head and it is growing not because it talks but because you agree with what it says.
The voice loves you to be known, it loves you to be popular and be talked over groups, so for this purpose, it wants you to people please and not be yourself. It wants you to avoid saying NO, but YES as much as possible, it wants you to look at that boy/girl at the right corner and start a conversation not because you’re lonely or feel bad alone but doing so will make you look cool and match with standards which are set by cool kids. So how you stay, talk, move; simply every bit of your movement will be judged put aside by people but within you by the voice in your head. When you get back home, you are already going insane. Distractions is what you look for first but then you might need to listen to that Pop song that talks about how love is great to set you on fire.
So, what’s going on? Why people just think just because the voice said something inside, it has to be so? I can go with bundles of why’s but I prefer to go with where it started.
We are made for love. Our minds see love as a way to become whole. But since society has screwed things up. We chase love outside of ourselves, when it’s already available in us. But people cannot find it. It’s so easy saying it, it’s so much easier agreeing it. But where exactly is this love in people and how do they see it and access it? It’s only when they see life as it is then they can appreciate and acknowledge everything within and not see it in perceptions of good or bad. Because, good and bad are made of judgement. It’s judgement that makes one thing good other bad, one happy other sad, one positive other negative, because of this we put ourselves in the edge of staying with what most people believe is right and not experience the whole.
Anything that exists within you, deserves your acknowledgement, time and love. Even your judgemental voice. Not that you should let it control you but acknowledge it and be okay with it with whatever color it shows you. If you see judgement in a higher level that you can separate yourself and call it something, it means you’re not becoming it, you’re seeing it and by acknowledging it you’re letting it pass.
The reason we become the judgemental voice is because it comes from our past when we were kids. As kids we didn’t know anything other than live in the present moment and find joy in everything. We could do one thing over and over and over again and still feel joyous. We were not out of options when it came to what should we be doing as kids. We could see joy in everything we did. We didn’t attach to emotions nor thoughts, because we didn’t think much about life but lived and lived more than asked and asked.
Most of us were not raised the way we should have. We were raised being told things that sucked not when we were told but now we know it and it sucks. The kind of teachings parents taught were insane because they acted as if everything was figured out, like everyone knew where people would go if they die, what’s behind the sky and who’s controlling everything. If you still believe those shit. Then you have got so much work to do. Doubt is the beginning of freedom. It is unlearning what was taught to you that sucks because once you unlearn everything, you also unlearn the voices in your head.
To really live and be able to listen to our bodies’ callings, then we need to stay in our hearts not in our minds. We need to listen to our bodies most and do what our hearts want us to do. Our bodies are always right because they are intuitive and in present moment, it is the mind that is late which lives in the past and decides, wants and thinks from a position where you felt abandoned, afraid and unloved.
In the mind, you are sliced into two, one is good other is bad and it likes to spend its time wasting on this drama. So, if you live in your mind, it will always ask, whether the glass is half full or half empty, it will argue, it will ask and ask. But if you live in your heart, it will not ask whether the glass is half full or half empty or full empty or fully full. It will cut the drama and drink the water. Because your heart wants to experience moments not question them.
Live in your heart, connect to your body because only doing so will make your mind have the same pace as your body so it can live in the present moment not past.
