Okay but I am obsessed with Lila touching Kell's face. She does it multiple times and it just *screams*
I feel like she does it both for herself and for Kell.
For herself to remind her that he's there, he's 'solid ground' and he's not going anywhere. Because she was always alone growing up and didn't have anyone - yes, she was the one running away but because she was scared of losing people and scared of people leaving her. But Kell is there, and will always be there and sometimes she needs a little reminder of that.
And I think she does it for Kell too because it comforts him. I keep thinking of that scene from book 1 when they're at the Sanctuary after Kell saved Rhy's life and Tieren comes in and takes Kell's face in his hands - I love that moment. Bearing in mind that Lila and Kell had just met each other like 3 days before lol, but she sees how comforting that touch is for Kell (yes yes, it's Tierens' magic but it's more than that imo) so she does the same thing when she can see he needs comforting. And it's beautiful ❤️
Also I think Lila just thinks Kell is pretty so she just wants to touch his pretty face. She does call him handsome once although she was very drunk at the time so that might not count 😂
