Defend ((If I haven't sent you one already...))
"Duck!"
Rory ducked. A moment later, a slim sword went sailing through the space in the doorway where his head had been, followed shortly by a mechanical arm. He poked his head up high enough that he could see the TARDIS digging into the robot's wiring again. "Could have sworn I had it all disconnected," she muttered. A moment later, the still-attached arm swung around, and she went flying. Rory started towards her, but she was already picking herself up and waving him off. "Now, that is absolutely enough of that."
She went back to work, now armed with something that Rory would have called a wrench if it hadn't had five separate heads and keeping a close eye on the free arm, until the robot was reduced to a pile of its component parts. Only then did Rory enter the room. "Why do you have a...fencing robot?"
The TARDIS shook her head. "The Doctor. Why else?"
Rory had to admit, she had a point there, and it was actually a pretty decent explanation.
