I really love the design philosophy in this Na Zha

Its designs faithfully translates the gender neutral aesthetics of Steven Universe into 3D, based on an honest succession of the Shrek-esque DreamWorks style.

This expression of Ne Zha accurately conveys a distinctive and unique design philosophy that stands in direct opposition to capitalist beauty standards.

In the West and Japan, when Nezha is depicted, he is often portrayed in a femboy style that flatters capitalist aesthetic standards in order to portray a gender neutral appearance

however, this Chinese animation directly opposes such this patriarchal trends by revealing a unique and distinctive aesthetic sense that is gender nonconforming in perfectly opposite side. This aligns exactly with the direction of the design philosophy that Shrek and Steven wanted to say.

I can't believe I finally get to share this from the next chapter of 'Shattered Virtue'.

Marinette combines the Ladybug with the Peacock in a last-ditch attempt at saving Chat Noir. Will she succeed? Well...it'll be a couple more chapters until we know that.

Synposis:

I have to say I am just utterly in love with the design of the Ornithopters in the upcoming Dune Movie. And I am totally onboard with them beating their wings like an insect as opposed to a bird(Which is what the term Ornithopter means a machine that flaps its wings in imitation of a birds wing flaps.). Also I do like how the overall design is just very Dragonflyish.

These are just the sexiest machines I’ve seen in a movie, and I am convinced that they alone can carry the movie.(I kid I’m really looking forward to this rendition of Dune but I just love these designs so much.)

The first movie rendition of the Ornithopers didn’t have them flap at all, and the miniseries didn’t either. So I am just stoked that the designs in Denis Villeneuve’s vision have the actual wing flapping. To me it also gives me more confidence that they are trying to be faithful to the book BECAUSE they are making sure to include this kind of detail when it could of just been glossed over.

Saw the new Dino designs and randomly had the thought: Wouldn’t it be funny if Froppy just turned into a full sized spinosaurus? At least it was easy to size with Spino being 3 meters (at the neck) and Tsuyu happens to be 150 cm.

Woah hey that’s so cool!! I love this, and how you matched the bg and style to the others that’s awesome!

And yeah I definitely thought about spino Froppy at some point so this is super cool to see!! :D
