Every Little Thing
It started slowly, almost carefully—but the connection between them was far too strong for restraint to last. His low groan vibrated against her lips, primal and possessive, sending a rush of heat through her veins. Her fingers slid up into his hair, tugging him closer as though she could merge herself into him.
His hands roamed. Skimming her arms, tracing her collarbones, framing her throat before cupping her face with a desperation that mirrored her own.
Something ignited deep inside her, sharp and unstoppable, until she was teetering on the edge of an inferno. She’d never been kissed like this before, with so much desperation and so much need. His pulse thrummed under her fingertips, his body pressed to hers, the sensation of him letting himself go.
Everywhere he touched was an electrical storm. Every spark told her this was no longer just about attraction. Adrien was more than the handsome racer in the fast car. He was her Ace. Her Adrien.
By the time they broke for air, her knees felt unsteady, and she was glad she was in the water.
He stroked his thumbs over her cheekbones, lips curved into something devastating. ‘You should wear red more often.’
Then he kissed her again, deeper this time, until she couldn’t tell if the heat in her chest was from the kiss or the surrounding water.
