*looks at you with tears in eyes* That was beautifully put.It's like you took my feelings and put them into beautiful words.*hugs you tightly* Uhhh. Okay, so what would you like YOUR story to be? What are you going to do in your weirdly small AND huge existence that will create some sort of personal meaning(or not)?What makes you happy? :) What gives you purpose? Or, well, what keeps you going even if you don't HAVE purpose?

I feel like I should say, "Do all I can be to be happy," but that probably won't work out so well xD But I'll try as hard as I can. I'd kind of like to live a fairy tale life where school was amazing and I had amazing friends and then the perfect internship at an observatory popped up and then I got published and then I'd be on Nova or The Universe or something wonderful, then I'd be married and have horses or platypi or dogs or whatever.

But I really have no idea what will happen or what I will want until later. Well, I have some vague idea now, but I'm a kid. I'm still a teenager. I was set on being a photographer for so long, then a vet, so who knows how I'll change once I'm in college. I can only hope that whatever happens, I'll end up happy, and it should be my happiness that gives me meaning.

Which is an excellent segue into the next question. What makes me happy?

Well, at the present time, accomplishment certainly does. And praise. Oh god knows I do like my ego being stroked. Pleasing my friends does, too. I'm sure that my crack family can tell you of the times I've spammed their ask boxes with nonsensical questions and FMKs in hopes that they'll laugh. But aside from that, my friends. My real friends. Those close few. The ones I don't have to shut up around.

Things that allow my mind to wander make me happy. It might be material (and I am a rather shameful material person. I'm trying to get better. I really am. I was an awful child. Goodness gracious), but along that line, it's why I love Doctor Who and The Lord of the Rings so much. Those universes are just so vast and they resonate on so many levels that I'll return to them again and again because while they may make it rain on my face like it's a monsoon, they really make me happy.

That was a long answer.

What gives me purpose? Well... yeah, don't really think I have a purpose. At least not yet anyway. Just have to make it through the college process and this next year. but what keeps me going without a purpose? Well, my friends. My dog. Things to look forward to in the near future, like riding on the weekends when I'm not dying from the heat or incompetence xD

At least I think so. I don't think about it that much unless I'm just dying in a pit of despair. Normally, at least during the school year, I'm just kind of on auto-pilot. I just... do.
