Lexovisaurus is a poorly known Stegosaur found in the Oxford Clay Formation in England, which probably contributes to the whole poorly known thing, because that’s actually marine sediments - meaning it washed up there. It lived about 164.7 million years ago, in the Callovian age of the Middle Jurassic. Other bones have been attributed to it, and in general it is something of a taxonomic mess, with only limited material known including vertebrae and a spike. Material assigned to the genus have also been collected from France, but given the fragmentary material, it’s hard to confirm that it’s the same thing.
