Not funny enough djdfjfj
I just honestly don’t like the way Emika acts around Hideo since she’s kind of all giggly and hopeful and she loses the very cool personality she has in the first chapter.
BTW the two little circles on Zero’s back are smiley faces.

The procession for Emika Chen’s funeral was long, yet only the Phoenix Riders and Hideo Tanaka seemed to be truly hurt by her death. It was discovered that she’d burned to death, but it also appeared that the fire had started from her insides and only burned her, since the room she was in was untouched, save for the spot on the floor she was standing on. Her team had been the first to find her, flinging open the door to her room when they heard her screams. They’d seen a charred form smoking and the scent of burnt hair filled the hotel room. A few rainbow hairs wafted towards the vents on the ceiling. Hammie had broken down, although Ren remained impassive. Later, upon looking at the table next to the bed, they’d found her phone and a message from Hideo: “Good morning, beautiful.” The Phoenix Riders’ question about where Emika always disappeared to were finally answered, but there was no one to get mad at with her dead.
Emika’s body was covered with a white sheet and each person glanced at the coffin before they walked away. Hideo’s eyes lingered too long, and Asher’s eyes seemed to be glistening with tears. The coffin was lowered into the ground. The mourners left, but there was a figure that remained, hidden by dense grasses and shrubbery, cloaked in shadow and a dark coat. Its shoulders moved up and down, and although it seemed that the figure was crying, anyone who knew to listen would hear not sobs, but low laughter.
