In my opinion, “Demons of the Punjab” is the best episode of series 11, so far. It is a well-written and compelling story that has well-formed and interesting characters, both new and old, that demand compassion from the audience. This episode is also the first episode of the series to have a truly compelling “villain” and plot in general. Vinay Patel did a fabulous job of balancing the excitement of the sci-fi genre with the complexities of a character driven drama in this episode. This comfortable balance was something that I had become accustomed to with Doctor Who and felt was severely lacking in this series, until now. Hopefully, the series will continue to get even better as Chibnall fully settles into his role as head writer and executive producer.
13 is adorable and I love her
in a permanent state of wishing i was a fictional character because at least then i’d either find true love or die and both options seem appealing rn
I know Pride Month is officially over now, but I have a few things I’d like to say. Thank you to everyone who marched and represented the LGBTQIA community. Thank you to everyone who came and watched and supported those who marched. Thank you to all of you who didn’t come, no matter what your reason, but still supported those who did. Thank you to everyone who supported the LGBTQIA community during Pride Month and remember just because it’s not pride month doesn’t mean we should stop showing our pride!
