how do they let each other know they’re leaving the house - when he’s in a rush plagg just shouts out a goodbye sugarcube but if he has time he makes sure to properly say goodbye with a kiss and last good look at her - tho tbh they usually leave at the same time for work anyway
how do they greet each other when one of them gets home - plagg comes in sighing dramatically and flopping down on the couch, likely complaining about something. after he’s done with he’ll get up and go over to kiss her cheek and ask how she is - tho again, they usually come home together (in which case he still comes into her office and starts to complain as they head out the door of work)
who brings home little gifts like flowers/chocolates more often - honestly? probably plagg. not that tikki doesn’t do it too but he has a routine of getting a bouquet of flowers for their dining room table every week and he always makes sure to have cookies stashed away in his office for her and anytime he goes downtown he stops at the bakery or a cafe to bring home a treat for her

✏️ + Plagg & Tikki
plagg is basically a regular at the floral shop at this point. he knows tikki likes having fresh flowers in the house and he brings some home at least twice a week as a surprise for her. he still knows nothing about them though - just asks the workers to make a set with their favorites or just get creative.
he has his own mini fridge in his room that he keeps his stinkier cheese in so that tikki doesn’t have to put up with their smell. it’s an extra step, which his lazy ass would usually never take, but for tikki he’s willing to do it.
he’s had a crush on her since they first met in college. he was going to ask her out, but lost the nerve and then never got it back. they started get closer and she’s just… so amazing that he needed to keep her in his life. couldn’t risk messing things up and losing her.
over the years the feelings have just grown but it’s been so long now that he doesn’t know how to make a move, even if he wanted to. there are times he thinks he can see that maybe she might feel similarly, but he’s afraid he’s just reading into it too much.
he would follow her to the end of the world. that’s not so much a secret, considering he quit his job and moved to corona to stay with her. but it’s still true.
he’s never wanted kids before but… he could easily picture himself raising a child with her. or fostering. he doesn’t really know, he just feels like they’d be good parents and knows that tikki deserves a chance at that if she wants it. and he’d want to be there with her for it too.
the little voice in his head that tells him he’s fucking up when he takes something too far sounds exactly like tikki - she’s basically his walking impulse control and the one that keeps him in line.
their offices are right next to each other at the school and he can always tell when she’s having a rough day. to try to make up for it a bit he often sneaks out to the cafeteria and buys her a cookie. they aren’t that great but hey he at least tried. he used to have a little stash of sweets hidden in his office that he’d give to her, but she sniffed them out far too easily.
for big events like her birthday or holidays, he tries his best at baking her something. it never looks that great, but it usually tastes alright - especially when he gets marinette to help him sometimes - and no matter how much of a pain it is, it’s always worth it in the end for how happy and excited she gets.
he does feel guilty sometimes for how much of a screw up he is in comparison to her - and how much bullshit she has to deal with because of him. but he’s too selfish to pull away from her. even if he feels she deserves better, he wants to be the person for her. it’s just… changing his ways is hard. he tries, but he has his slip ups. and when he does slip up, he slips up hard - like the fight with shane at the valentines dance.
he’s always trying to get her to go on a ride with him on his motorcycle, but she refuses until he officially gets his license. which… will likely not happen for awhile, but he’s gonna keep suggesting they go for a ride anyway. he even has a spare helmet specifically just for her - it’s red with black polka dots, like a ladybug.

setting her blending brush down, penny looks over at rex curiously. she’d already seen him with the tiara on in the reflection of the mirror, but she wanted to look at him head on for this. “i know that’s right,” she smiles, even snapping her finger to accentuate her agreement with the sentiment. “but you look cute no matter what. let’s start there.” as always penny has to hype up her friends in any way possible, even if it’s something as minor as rex standing in her room with a plastic tiara on top of his head. @tyrannospillarex

belle let out a soft chuckle, setting down her pen and notepad. she had invited wirt over to brainstorm and once he started getting caught up in his thoughts, she figured it was best to let him rant. “i think you’ll be a lot kinder than you think you will be,” she said matter-of-fact. “especially when it comes to the people here.” even if he was joking or not, belle was a bit excited about the idea of a book by wirt. any book got her plenty hyped up, but one from someone close to her? that had to be the most exciting feeling. “what would you call your memoir? i think about this a lot for myself, but have never actually came up with a title.” @wiirttwood

a smirk grows on her lips as she leans forward, elbows resting on the bar separating the two. it was rare that shock ever agreed to cover for any of the bartenders at the casino or to be in any position beyond acting as a bouncer or working on the betting books. but when she noticed lance come into the building she’d been quick to send the current bartender on break and reassure him to go ahead and take his time with it. “and who says that hasn’t been my intention this whole time?” she shoots back, raising an eyebrow with the words. her tone was equally as teasing as his own and she probably should have left it at that, but shock was never one to not push. “so tell me, strongbow - is it working? or do i need to up my game here?” @rcturnofstrongbow
