snorting, plagg shakes his head without even bothering to actually look over at her. “have you ever been happy?” he asks with a smirk. “i thought the only emotions you had were pissed and drunk.” of course logically he knew dani to be capable of feeling more than that, but at times it truly did seem like she was constantly just on different levels of angry. @dragcndani

“ why don’t they ever make a movie about what happens after the big kiss? “ (Tikki)

“huh?” he questions, eyes opening as he looks first at tikki then at the television to realize that the film was over. it hadn’t been awful - better than some of the others he’d watched for tikki’s sake - but still not good enough to fully capture his attention. there was just a lack of dramatics really, too happy-go-lucky for him in the moment. “i’m sure they do, those just aren’t the kinda movies you want to watch, sugar cube.” @orderlytikki

“And that’s two times too many,” Dani reminds him, never having known a grown man to have so many feelings about tartlets. Or cheese, or anything else Plagg seemed to strangely care about. A smirk on her lips, the smile falls when he questions the slice of cheese. “What the fuck do you think it is?” she scoffs, a tinge of annoyance in her voice that he can’t at least try to be grateful that she went out of her way to bring something for him. Sure, it was to mock him, but it was a gift nonetheless. “You keep complaining about the lack of cheese at these things, I thought this would shut you up.”

"Have I been wrong either time?” he counters, staring at her for a moment more and waiting for Dani to try to correct him. It’s something she’d easily do and he wouldn’t be surprised by it in the slightest - but Plagg as always felt confident that if anyone knew what the fuck they were talking about when it comes to cheese it was him. “And you couldn’t have even brought a laughing cow wheel? I’m really only worth a kraft single to you?” Despite his complaints, he does reach out and unwrap the slice of cheese, ripping off a little chunk and popping it in his mouth.

“Do you think that it will look good?” Adrien asked, sliding his thumb over the skin of the wrist with the sketch of the drawing next to it. No matter if this was an easy topic for a decision, he wanted to share it with someone before decide what to do. Pointing at the picture while this is passed to the other man. “It’s really special and I would be cool if the tattoo is in a visible place but … What if it’s not okay for the Musical theater? Like, it’s really important physical presence for performances and so on.” Releasing a sigh, looking at Plagg because this man somehow always knew what the right decision was or how to get things done, at least in Adrien’s opinion when personal life needed a little support. The idea of ​​getting a tattoo had already been studied and the money raised, enough for something small but beautiful. “Why that face? I won’t get a fromage or something similar in my skin. “Kid, I’m a high school guidance counselor and I’ve got tats, I’m sure you’ll be fine to get them as an actor,” he points out, not really seeing why it would be a problem. Plenty of people had tattoos, including actors, it really wasn’t as big of a deal as Adrien was making it seem. “Isn’t that what makeups for anyway? Covering shit up? Or you just get the costume to be long sleeved or whatever.” Looking back over at the boy, Plagg raised an eyebrow when asked about the face he was making. “I didn’t make any face, kid. Like I said - it’ll be fine. And I assumed you weren’t going to get cheese.” As the blond explained the meaning behind the handprint and paw he wanted to get, he nodded along. “Yeah, it makes sense. If you want it, you should go for it.”

“I’m getting real tired of you talking about tartlets,” Dani rolls her eyes, eyeing Plagg skeptically as he takes a seat next to her. She hasn’t come to expect anything else, his small fit at the winter festival proof that he has strong feelings about anything containing cheese, but that doesn’t mean she has the patience for it. In the grand scheme of things she has the patience for very little, but at the very least she came prepared this time. Opening her clutch, she pulls out an individually wrapped cheese slice she brought for this very moment, tossing it over to him as though he was a toddler she had to prepare a snack for. “Shut up and eat your cheese.”

“It’s only the second time I’ve talked about it,” he points out. Or at least it’s only the second time Plagg has complained to Dani specifically about tartlets - Tikki’s heard far more - so really the blonde should consider herself lucky in comparison. When a single slice of cheese flies over towards him, Plagg just stares at it a moment before looking back up at the woman who had tossed it his way in the first place. “What the fuck is this?”

“I’m getting real tired of these fucking tartlets,” he complains without any sort of hello or lead-in. Not that Dani should be surprised, considering how much Plagg bitched and whined about cheese on the regular. In truth the tartlets at this event were much better than the ones at the winter festival, but still not nearly cheesy enough for his liking. “They put feta in the name first - implying that it’ll be the main flavor then the fucking spinach comes and takes over the entire thing.” @dragcndani​

“This isn’t like a Christmas gift or something is it?” he asks around a mouthful of cheese bread. It was that time of the month again where Nick came with his mother’s cooking in hopes of bribing Plagg into behaving for a few more weeks. But with the holidays also falling around this time, he just needed to know that this wasn’t somehow supposed to be a present. “‘Cause I sure didn’t get you anything.” @nickswildbro

A smirk grows on Plagg’s face as he lifts his glass back to his lips to take another long and dramatic sip. “Don’t tell me you’d rather get drunk on holiday cheer,” he comments, knowing that’s far from the truth. It was more of Tikki’s thing than Dani’s, but he can’t help but tease her all the same. “You probably just aren’t putting enough liquor in yours.” @dragcndani

“What the fuck,” he breathes out, stumbling forward as a block of snow connected with his back out of nowhere. Before Plagg can even turn around he already knows who it’s going to be standing behind him. Which is why he doesn’t hesitate in bending over and packing together a snowball of his own as quickly as he could. “You’re a dead man, you fucker.” @dodgerartful

Staring at the baked good in question, Plagg wasn’t entirely sure if he trusted Sav on that. Not that Plagg actually cared much about Christmas cookies to begin with, but this treat looked even sweeter than that. “Got any traditional food with cheese in it?” he asks, though he reaches over to grab one of the sufganiyot anyway. @savwrides

“You do know you said that out loud, right?” Dani scoffs, brows furrowed into a frown as she eyes Plagg and the plate of tarts in his outstretched hand. “Work on your sales pitch for next time.” Noticing just how many are on the plate she has to press her lips together to keep from laughing. “Did you hear brie and take the entire booth?” she teases, well aware of the man’s inexplicable obsession with cheese. 

Rolling his eyes, Plagg just shakes his arm the slightest bit in another attempt to get her to take the plate out of his hand. She had about thirty more seconds before he was just going to drop the entire thing onto the ground. “If they say it’s an apple brie tartlet, it should taste like fucking brie,” he complains, unbothered by the fact that it was so obvious why he’d be upset at the little baked treats.

Meg raised an eyebrow at him. He sounded absolutely miserable over sweets and that was different. Different enough for her to not just walk away after being the first one to speak. “Straight bourbon? What did you think I was sipping at?” she asked dryly, shaking her glass a little before resuming conversation. “The trick is knowing where to find it annnd I know where to find it. Want me to show you?”

Raising an eyebrow at the woman as she showed off her glass and then admitted she herself had something stronger and straighter than the mixed drinks Plagg had seen offered everywhere. “Depends - what’s it gonna cost me? Buying your second round?”

it was more than safe to say that this little winter festival was not meg’s scene. but she was bored, her friends were on tour, and she needed something to do so that she wasn’t at home all day being depressing. she figured after a drink or two things would be well enough and so far they were. but she was sucker for human interaction, some would even argue she was desperate for it, so she sauntered over to the first person she saw and sipped her drink next to him. “i hate the cold,” she said, with a sigh. “but i won’t lie. the drinks are almost good enough to ignore that. almost.”

Since eating that awful apple brie tartlet earlier, Plagg’s entire mood for this festival had been shot. So much so that he was almost tempted to just call it quits and leave right now - but he knew he couldn’t just ditch Tikki like that. She was bound to be done with her shopping soon enough and would want to do some of the activities together, so Plagg was stuck sitting on a bench, waiting and wanting to go home. He’s just about to move on and see if maybe there was something else he could find to eat that wouldn’t be as much of a disgusting let down as the sweet cheese baked treat had been when someone comes to stand beside him. “They’re all too sweet,” he counters her compliment of the drinks, though he’d yet to actually try any of them to know for certain. “Whatever happened to just a classic bourbon hot chocolate? Or just… straight bourbon?”

Taking a bite of the apple brie tartlet, Plagg slowly chews on it as a frown forms on his face. “Disgusting,” he comments before turning to hold out the plate with the rest of the tiny tartlets on it to Dani. It was partially out of disinterest in eating the rest of them - they didn’t have nearly enough brie - and also partially in hopes of making her suffer in some way. “Take them. I’m done.” @dragcndani​

with a smirk on his lips, plagg looked up at the ceiling for a moment as if he were genuinely thinking the suggestion over before turning his eyes back to dodger. “nah, i think i’m fine right here,” he decides. “in fact - i think i’ll even stick around for a bit.” and with that he slid into the seat next to his latest rival and flagged down the bartender to place an order for himself, showing that he had no intentions of leaving this bar nor dodger alone any time soon. @dodgerartful
