AWS or Amazon Web Services provides various hosting services. You can host your own site or content on AWS. The three main services that AWS provides are S3 web hosting, CloudFront content hosting, and EC2 cloud hosting. If you are looking to host a website that is under 1GB, then you need to use S3 website hosting. For websites that are larger than 1GB, you have to use EC2. As for CloudFront, it is used by websites to deliver content faster. AWS is designed to work with other Amazon services like Amazon shopping cart and product reviews.
