I recognized your tumblr username as being a reference to Firefly (!!) and wondered if you had written any Firefly fics which is how I stumbled upon 'Black and Blue'

I loved reading it!!

Simon is my favorite character from the series, so it was awesome to read a fic centered around him. I thought the characters and character relationships were all written wonderfully and actually in character. It was funny, it was sweet, the whump was great, the comfort was fantastic, I loved it.

(I especially loved the part with Mal and Simon in the infirmary, Mal so concerned about Simon completely nonchalantly coughing up blood lol)

It's gone into my downloaded fics folder for personal preservation and so I can read it anytime. Thanks for writing such a cool story!!

For your Guardian headcanons, my guardian and her ghost are married! Ikora officiated and their rings are made up of Ghost's generalist shell :] if youre asking in general, I feel like a lot of guardians are mute at and around first rez, and ghosts have to kinda speak for them!

Wow I love this idea :D I've been actually reading up on some lore about Guardians and their Ghosts having different kinds of relationships, including romantic, and this is so sweet! And the idea about the rings is aww! 🥰

I remember there is that sweet lore card about a Ghost saying they love their Guardian, and I imagine it could be interpreted different ways.

I agree about the first rez! I wonder if resurrection gives some kind of physical displeasure at first, hm.
