I’m so tired of the whole ambiguous race thing in comics/books/whatever
Where a character is drawn or described with features that make them not look white, so poc consuming the media are like !!!! about having a rad character like them.
But the makers of media never come out and say it, we can just assume it, so they feel totally fine if they do a cover or a movie or whatever depicting the character as super white. I’m tired of this darn “where did I say that they were just tan :)”
Make your characters actually poc darnit. Talk to actual people and work it out jfc.
