WHEW WHAT AN AWFUL FINALS WEEK(s) so much happened but over thanksgiving break I woke up one morning to find that MY ANIMAL TURNED BLUE AND LEFT ME HER EXOSKELETON!!! LITTLE GIRLS STRONG AND GROWING!!!
I've settled on a name, Paperclip because shes so flat and bendy, but I often refer to her as "The/my animal"
It was a textbook perfect molt, I was very happy to see that, just after a week of adopting her, I was providing her the proper conditions that made her feel safe to molt to so seamlessly!!!
Ran into this purse web spider (Atypus snetsingeri) out on the prowl. this bachelor is single and ready to mingle, and with chelicerae of that magnitude the ladies are going to be all over him! #spider #awwnverts #atypus #cute
