I've had it for a couple of weeks now, it's from Ocean of Strange Islands. Before this it was from Lord of the Rings, "I will not say the day is done, nor bid the stars farewell." I've been super into Nightwish recently.

Bri asked this and I said my beeswax candles (the owls my sister gave me for Christmas), so now I’ll say another one of my favourite things: a wee snowglobe I got from an aquarium in Co. Kerry. It has purple seahorses in it.

Dark brown.

14. what’s something surprising about you?

I used to be very chatty and sociable if I had a chance to get over my shyness. I’m the quietest person alive now.

17. do you want any tattoos? if so, where, what, and why?

If tattoos weren’t painful, maybe. I’m not sure what it would be. Maybe a little elephant—tiny. Somewhere like my ankle perhaps.

37. where do you go to be alone?

Bri also asked this, and I said my bedroom, which is true most of the time. Sometimes I go for a walk to be alone.

57. are you a morning person?

Some people might think so. It depends on your definition of a morning person, I guess. Only when the sun rises early, to be honest. I’ve been waking up at 6 lately, and in the summer I wake up at 5, but it’s so hard to get up early in the winter when the sun doesn’t rise until 9.

98. do you have your phone on military or regular?

Military. I think it’s might be an Irish or European thing.

OH I JUST REMEMBERED THIS DREAM I HAD THAT I WAS GOING TO TELL YOU ABOUT. It's not SotS-related, but Tolkien-and-Leverage-related, separately. This was...over a week ago when I was sick, so I don't remember all the details, but I'll do my best.

Basically I was at this house with the Fëanorians (and some of my family? And Frodo and Bilbo. Also Huan was there for sure), and we were cleaning out these rooms and found some mice and a rat. A good amount of people wanted to kill the rat for whatever reason (but let the mice go?!), but Frodo protested and said that we needed to give him "some humanity" (i.e. be compassionate). (Honestly, that is very in-character of dream Frodo. Proud of my brain for that one XD) Anyway, my mom and I agreed, and we decided to take the rat to the nearest vet. To get vaccinated. We got in the car and brought the rat, and the rat was slowly becoming sentient. I think it was talking, and it wanted some clothes. So we drove to the vet's office, and this part gets fuzzy, but we/the vet discovered that the rat was actually a person (who had been turned into a rat??), and that person was Eliot from Leverage. And so he came home with us (as a human), happy and chill, wearing clothes and eating some food we picked up on the way back. The Fëanorians had continued to clean up around the house while we were gone; Maglor and Celegorm were bickering about their rooms. Huan was excited to see Eliot and everyone was glad that we listened to Frodo. (As I was waking up, I began laughing about the ridiculousness of all this. I'm also highly amused by fact that Frodo had said to give the rat some humanity, and the rat actually was a human, so it was more on-point than we realized.)

I sort of wanted to make this a post but I felt weird making it a post, so I decided to make it an ask. I can't tag people in an ask but I would tag Statue and Winter because I think they might find this funny too.

That is an amazing dream. XD XD
