axca’s relationship to keith?

this may have been said, idk but honestly what are late nights for other than rambling

just a very quick psa, keith is exceptionally gay coded and k/lance is the endgame romance the writers have been talking about (nothing else fits) so my point is nothing in this meta is meant to be interpreted romantically.

so we know on multiple occasions axca has been given the opportunity to kill keith but hasn’t taken it. i am not going to screenshot them all but it’s true okay, as recently as s6.

if you argue that this is because keith saved her from the worm thingy and she feels indebted you’re weak and also a fool. they’ve been written as related (hh i mean narratively) with their multiple interactions emphasised. keith finding her to begin with set up something.

anyway i was thinking about the character designs and how they could relate to relationships. this is a kid’s show so the designs can somewhat be used as an indicator of heritage, because kids would take it at face value and interpret it pretty simply.

so lotor is half altean half galra right? thing is a lot of his galra features are the predominant ones.

also, his generals who are ‘half-breeds’ too (which i’m just quoting because it also hints that they have one direct galra parent) have pretty dominant galra characteristics.

krolia shares these mixed-raced traits

krolia definitely does not look like she’s totally galra anyway, especially with her eyes. so let’s say she’s mixed race, half galra and half, uh, ‘’’’human’’’’. it would explain why keith appears human, because that quarter galra part of him isn’t strong enough to have any dominant traits. (this does have a point, bear with me)

so wait, if axca and krolia both look mixed, and in sort of similar ways, what if they’re... sisters?

we know now it’s next to impossible that axca can be keith’s sister, the only way that could happen would be if she was born after him which would make her very young so that doesn’t seem likely. she could be his half sister from before krolia came to earth which is. kinda incongruent with krolia risking her life in the blade if she already had a kid she needed to protect? i think it comes between axca being keith’s older half-sister - and in that case where did her human features come from if the galra traits would be too strong at three-quarters galra for her other parent to be galra-

krolia and axca are meant to be interpreted as related in some way, that’s obvious from their designs. and yes, axca is designed as a lot younger than krolia but that doesn’t rule out the possibility.

honestly it could be either. i do want to know if krolia is designed as less galra just so it’s easier to empathise with her? it is a bit difficult to have a conversation when the person you’re speaking to could be looking anywhere. humanising her may have been purely so the audience like her more.

but, if krolia is genuinely somewhat human would that explain her attatchment to earth and is that somehow linked to how the blue lion ended up on earth in the first place?

Im hoping in season 8 theres gonna be a moment where Keith and Acxa are alone or somewhere in the garrison and she goes to kiss him and the shot cuts to them before Keith tilts his head back and puts his hand to her lips, and looks shook. And Axca is like “what?” And Keith just doesnt know what to say and Axca leaves the room heartbroken and Keiths all like “oh shit okay” and it cuts to him looking really confused. And Krolia looks into the room after seeing Acxa leave like “whomstve?” And sees Keith hunched over. And her mom sensors goes off like “ohhhhSHIT”

Axca is Keith’s sister/relative. I’m calling it right now. They look too similar. I thought they were related since she was introduced and that's the reason she didn’t really want to kill him. That would also explain why she was there when Keith and Krolia were at his dad’ s grave
