Axca and Shy s/o (Voltron)
Them being not super dominating is both a plus and a minus in the relationship. Axca is a person who does prefer to do things in a certain way. Having a partner that doesn’t cause too much change to that is a good thing to her. But, and this is important to understand, Axca hasn’t a clue how to be the dominant one in a relationship.
People seem to forget that Axca has very likely been under Lotor’s command for a long time, and even after leaving his service she quickly found another person to serve. This is someone who is not accustomed to being the leader in a relationship. The only time she’s really ever had a say in things was when she was working solo on missions. There is a learning curve to be had.
Axca is, however, adaptable and a quick-learner. Once she really knows her partner well, she takes being the lead like a fish to water. This is due in part to the fact she’s a stupid good observer. Her s/o is biting their lip - they’re feeling nervous and don’t know how to say it. Their hand is fidgeting - they want to hold hands. She winds up knowing her partner better than she knows herself.
Low-key grateful s/o is so shy. Since relationships are so new to her, being with someone who moves at a slower pace really helps her have time to adjust to the concept of being with someone.
Can and will punch someone in the face if they scare, harass or are generally rude to s/o.
