So @axel464 did an awesome sketch of an angry Cardigan the other night so I wanted to color it.
At some point I imagine Grillby teaches him a bit of fire magic, but I can see him never wanting to use it til he gets severely pissed off.
Couldn’t get Tumblr to bring this up properly so I’m going to answer it here:
axel464 said: Is choosing a few pledgers on Patreon for a free piece a work a month considered a raffle?
According to Patreon: Anything where a pledge has a chance to win something qualifies as gambling. So unfortunately, the official policy has to be no on this but you can always have a high value pledge reward that guarantees getting something. So you can set a reward tier to an estimated value of what the highest bid might have been.
So the official policy on any raffle is no. So what they’re saying you can do instead, is offer a tier that absolutely guarantees a result, so if you put up a $25 tier and say “One commission of any type” as the reward, then that’s what they get.
A way I’ve seen folks bypass it (and something I have set up) is a Milestone goal where you go through the list every month and draw a patron’s OC. There is no ‘chance’ involved as you are stating you will draw a patron’s OC once a month. If you make it a point to go straight down the list of patrons every month, you are guaranteeing everyone a drawing upon reaching that milestone. No one’s left out or required to pay for a ticket or chance.
I would put: A lamp, bird feathers, Shockwave plush, bones of animals and Cinnamon toast crunch (toast version). Those are what came to mind. 8P
ah yes French Toast Crunch. I would absolutely show up, though you might have to wait for me to have eaten some of the cereal before I’d do anything.
axel464 replied to your post: Designing a character to auction but ending up...
*pats head* I know your feels. Once your done creating the design and take one finale look you can just feel the pull of them saying ‘adopt me mom’.
I started the design like “Okay I need to make money so let’s auction some character designs” but 5 minutes later I’m like “I love you you’re my new baby welcome to the oc family”
