I was looking through my art folders from years past looking for a different WIP, but when I found these Aximilis all alone and unfinished, I had to lift them up out of the mists of the past and finish inking and coloring them. Best normal human boy that there ever was.

Might be setting myself up for Tumblr Scorn but it's been exactly a year since I debuted my Ax cosplay. Learned a lot, cried when it shattered on the way into the con, cried again when the hooves ended up being agony, behold my gorgeous friend holding me up because at that point I was in too much pain to stand.

10/10 would do again and and again.

Playing around with a human-to-Andalite morphing sequence, then got the idea it could be a possible redraw of book 8's cover! I'm not sure which way I'm gonna run it, I kind of like both the original sequence (top) and the cover framing (bottom).

Obviously, poofy jackets aren't gonna work like morphing outfits, so you gotta tie it around your waist if you don't want to lose it. Or you could keep it on I guess, but I figured this was more interesting!
