7. what’s your favorite way to travel? Is there a mode of travel you haven’t done that you want to experience?
I genuinely like driving and road trips, but I also started out as being the only available driver in my friend group so I got used to carting people around, I guess. HOWEVER I do also fuck with the bus and Light Rail (our local train system) so hard. One aspect of my old job that I miss, even if it ate up a lot of my mornings and evenings, was chilling on the bus and having that time to read or decompress or whatever. Now that I work closer to home I mostly use the Light Rail to get in and out of downtown Seattle for shows or hangouts or whatever. Although, one time recently when my old car was out of commission I rode it all the way down to the end of the line (like 90 minutes) to meet a friend and give him something, and then rode it back up, and that was some really excellent Enforced Reading Time.
As for ones I haven't done/want to do… I can't think of any off the top of my head. I haven't been on a boat in like a decade but I get seasick if the waters are at all choppy so I wouldn't choose that as a regular activity.
8. favorite month of the year and why?
This is such a dumb answer but February has really improved since the introduction of Femslash February to my life. Often I'm working on/posting fic for it, but even if I'm not I can usually count on an uptick of something I want to read or engage with. And my wife has had an AU series going for... jesus, almost a decade now, where she writes short fics about MCU femslash pairs for the whole month. I always really look forward to what she comes up with because a lot of them are random in a great way. Also for Valentine's we always watch Professor Marston and the Wonder Women and I adore that movie.
I find laundry more bearable in that it requires less input from me (thank you washer and dryer!). Like I can just throw stuff in there with a thing of soap and bam! there it goes! Either washing dishes by hand or loading and unloading the dishwasher feels way more annoying and laborious to me for whatever reason (and also when I'm handwashing I'm always paranoid about making sure I wash all the soap off, which is stressful).
20. what do you wish someone would ask you?
I basically always love when people ask me questions about Warriors canon and/or talking about my extremely bad and embarrassing Warriors personal documents. I have one document that's a "cast list" that's a combination of my dream voice cast for an adaptation and the voices I read the characters in in my head. (This is apparently a skill many people do not have? but I have little soundbites of many actors' voices saved in my head if I see them enough and I can read things in their voices.) I also have one that started out as a cringe OC Clans list but quickly morphed into giving warrior names to characters in my favorite fandoms. I would love to talk about these embarrassing things. <3
