My performance went okay, think I could have done a lot better, but I got an encore which was swell! I suppose it couldn't have been that bad.
Ay Ducane - Old Souls
On Thursday I had a university interview in London for a really amazing course. The interview was absolutely horrific and I spent the day on the tube bawling my eyes out. When I got to Kings Cross, I had a couple of hours to kill and headed to St Pancras, where this band were playing a Station Sessions gig. The music was unexpected: Americana from four London boys, but it worked; the lead guy sung like an old man from the south. The eps were gone before I made my way to the merch table but this song - perhaps the most memorable one from the performance - is available for free from the Ay Ducane website. They made me forget about the awful interview whilst wishing it had gone well so that I could be in London to see their future shows.
