what foods/snacks do you guys eat for an upset stomach (constant acid reflux that seems to react to anything, mild nausea, pain) that aren’t difficult to put together? i’m so fatigued that the idea of making food right now is killing me but my stomach is also killing me and i am hungry but i am scared to eat because my stomach hurts.

our dad was moved out of the ICU yesterday by the way! it’s still so surreal that the outcome of all this has been so smooth (knock on wood). doctors weren’t sure if he was going to have functioning lungs or kidneys, frankly they weren’t even sure if he was going to make it off the table. but he’s breathing and eating on his own, his heart is working better, recovery is going well so far!

it’ll still take a bit for things to go back to normal; we’re handling a lot more things alone at home and we’re catching up on college assignments. but things are looking up, somehow, some way.

we’ll probably stop posting about this matter soon unless something crazy happens but i know our friends were (understandably) really worried about our situation so i wanted to put this out there.

shiny male nidoran in the kanto safari zone after 5428 encounters! win or fail spoilers under the cut~

i successfully caught him and named him popcorn! after the popcorn that was so loud in the microwave i didn’t hear the shiny sparkles lol

i’m happy the japanese game finally caught something because i’ve done safari week a few times now and the firered has seen multiple shinies but never caught any, meanwhile the leafgreen has 5 separate shiny catches lol

for the first time in a few years, i’m doing safari week! really happy to be back. just ended my session for tonight (this picture is from yesterday but still) at 4500 encounters… out of the ones i’ve counted anyway. my first session after midnight on the 17th wasn’t counted at all. so i’m probably over 5k. and our girlfriend is participating for the first time and they’ve done around 880 encounters so we’re making good progress!

that pikachu plush is holding up my ds lite because i’m using the one with the broken hinge. our girlfriend is borrowing our ds lite with the functioning hinge

anyway tonight our girlfriend hunted for a while but then continued their first colosseum playthrough, so i had that RNG mess as entertainment while i hunted. finally put the setup away and we’re leaving the wii on to purify shadow pokemon with the infinite walking exploit tonight

i am about to play more octopath traveller because them playing colosseum was a trade. but i’m not complaining because octopath is very fun

i'm going to be honest, i forgot the pokecrystal decomp would have this information and i looked for the block of learnset data in the ROM myself. i already have data for the hexadecimal values for all the moves in the game, so i just iterated over every byte in the rom converting each byte into its english move name, and then i wrote a search function of sorts to find any instance where crunch and hyper beam were very close to earthquake (tyranitar line moveset) and by doing that i was able to find the chunk of data lol

i probably could have assumed that the moves were in level + move ID lists in pairs of two bytes but i did it the hard way i guess
