There is a real disturbing trend I've seen lately of people thinking videos of dogs looking stressed out with eyes bulging, ears back and showing teeth are *just hilarious*. I hate it so ,,,, so much. People are so irresponsible and frankly ignorant and un-empathetic about animal behavior and it drives me fucking nuts. And these videos go viral. I HATE IT.

Yes!!! Or videos where the dog is showing absolute signs of stress/fear response at whatever the human is doing, so the human continues to do it or makes it even worse, and the dog snaps out of fear - and then its posted as hilarious or relatable or i dont even fking know but its not safe! Those people are just laughing at their dog being so uncomfortable and probably scared out of their wits, and then acting like their dog is so sassy or mean, but its ok bc they’re a small breed right?

Also the 800k “Aww he’s smiling!!!” pics which are just like. I’m so sorry honey but while that appears to be a smile the way humans smile, that dog is not happy. In fact, that face is showing how NOT HAPPY he is. 

I just really wish we could learn about dogs and what their behaviors are - especially body language! - and not put a human spin on it.

CBS All Access comes to mind. I only just a few months ago became a Star Trek fan. I’ve been binging all the shows on...

I know where you’re coming from, I’ve only recently gotten into Trek as well and it was thanks to Netflix for sure. But when it came to Discovery there was no reasonable way to watch it so I pirated it. Okay show, I’m not used to Star Trek having continuous story lines the way it does (I’m only up to DS9 so I don’t know how Voyager or Enterprise worked). Jason Isaacs and Doug Jones make the show worth watching. I also like the reinterpreted Klingons.

Let’s be real, man. MOST of history is racist in some form. It’s already dangerous enough territory that you are -LITERALLY- advocating for erasing ANY kind of history. That’s fucking asking for trouble. Should we also leave out any mention of the Trail of Tears from history? Let’s also not teach our children about the horrors of the Holocaust or WW2 propaganda toward the Japanese. It’ll definitely be a positive thing for society to just pretend we were always happy and loving and never racist at all! That definitely won’t cause problems down the road! That definitely won’t cause repeats of history! No, not at allllll!

Okay so a few things. I think a lot of this is up to personal interpretation and no amount of debate will give us right and wrong answers about the characters. Robert says Mary is harmless but is he really the absolute best judge of character? I personally think not. There’s hints that Robert “knows” Joseph is sketchy but their sleeping together isn’t canon, is it? Without Joseph’s good ending we don’t know absolutely everything yet.

Their sleep together actually is canon, as admitted by Joseph himself.

75. Weirdest thing that happened to you on Overwatch?

oh god there’s a lot of things uhhhhhhhhhh

any potg with characters i suck at, because they’re literally me screaming and button mashing (Widow, Genji, Tracer, any character but Zenyatta)

oh how about a positive story from early in my overwatch days!

so we go onto this server and the first thing that we see in the general chat is “hey guys, can we not cap the point, we’re doing achievement hunting”and my friend and i are in a group and are like “huh”and so we go out and see the enemies who said that and they actually ARE doing achievements, asking people to line up on the edge so they can get Roadie ulted off the map for his achievement, in exchange of a promise trade

Long story short, i got a TON of achievements that day, with the help of them and the people on the server who joined in. So. Early community spirit. Weird but awesome.
