32 women raped while fleeing El Fasher, medical network warns The Sudanese Doctors Network has confirmed 32 cases of rape involving girls fleeing El Fasher toward Tawila in just one week. Some assaults occurred inside the city after the RSF takeover on 26 October; others happened during escape. The network says the attacks amount to war crimes, reflecting systematic targeting of women and girls in RSF-controlled areas. It holds the RSF fully responsible and calls for urgent international investigation and protection for survivors. The UN Human Rights Council has already approved a fact-finding mission to probe abuses in El Fasher, including sexual violence and unlawful killings.
