I know it's a decade off, but the new A League of Their Own is giving me serious AYLT vibes and major nostalgia for the first time I was reading it

Aww, oh my gosh! Thank you for sending this, anon :) I'll be honest, it actually made me think of AYLT a couple of times, too - even if they're a decade apart, a lot of the queer language is still the same.

In particular, (episode 6 spoiler below)

the gay bar scene. When Carson convinced Greta to go with her, I worried that a raid was inevitable and of course it was. Definitely called to mind the ALYT scene there.

just finished rereading AYLT + the epilogue. I know you're probably not looking to start another rizzles thing but I just wanted you to know that the whole flashback of them in the '70s and being on opposing sides of the movement and breaking up/getting back together would be an amazing fic and i would 50000% read it!!!

Hi, just wanted to say thanks for all the writing you've put out! I read Are You Lonesome Tonight long ago when I was a teen and it played a pretty important role in me navigating my own identity and sexuality (and also navigating my own writing skills). So thank you again!

Watching a League of Their Own is making me want to reread AYLT! D’Arcy Carden keeps making me think of Roxie

oh wow! They do definitely have that femme fierceness going on (I think if I wrote AYLT now, I would make Roxie slightly less....... aggressive? But she for sure has a special place in my heart). I love that the show is making you think of the fic, thank you for telling me!!
