“I’m just wondering,” Kip starts as he joins the other at the bar, leaning against the counter beside them with a beer bottle in hand. “Do you desperately hate having fun or is that just...” He gestures. “Something your face does?” A grin forms across his face and he shrugs, taking a swig of his beer before he lowers it again. “I mean don’t get me wrong, not trying to insult you or anything but you look miserable and, well... Aren’t people supposed to be happy at bars?”

Full glad am I to see you well old friend.” The Young Commander gave a soft smile, gentle eyes watching his dearest companion with affection and relief just to see him standing and alive. There was once a time he feared he’d never see that again. Any day with him breathing air was one to thank the gods for in his opinion.

“Word traveled to me of your return home from your travels in the Empire. To say I was worried would be quite the understatement.” The ebony haired Elezen jested lightly. “I’d advise atleast a letter my way would help quell the fear within my chest...nonetheless welcome back. I take however this is but a visit before you long for the call of adventure once more. You never were one to idle by.”
