I am actively working on the next chapters of CS, ays(aml) and ybtm right now, actually!

CS is a bit of a slog, and admittedly my focus has been drifting recently, but I’m determined to finish it so the update is definitely coming!

will we be seeing the black brothers in ays(aml)? bc i just read binary stars and oh my god, you have got me obsessed with how you write their dynamic. and i must be deranged because the blackcest undertones are everything to me lol

Regulus and Sirius will share a truly excessive amount of time together in this one!

While their dynamic won’t be quite as intense as it was in binary stars, the two of them are still very much not normal about each other. There will be so many vibes, and some in-story comments that allude to a non-platonic bond between them, but neither of them are sexually interested in the other. It’s more that they both have a raging brother-complex that just makes some people uncomfortable.

Interestingly enough, I intend to make Sirius the more obsessive one between them, rather than Regulus. So be prepared for older brother Sirius to make his appearance at regular intervals and mess up Regulus’ schemes.

What are your thoughts on sword fighting in HP Universe? Idk what it is but I just love the thought of sword in one hand and wand in the other as like being the ancient way of fighting amongst wizards. I love when someone brings sword fighting or at least like knives or daggers into their story.

Oh I 100% love the idea! I think swords and sword fighting were a very ingrained part of older wizarding culture (Sword of Gryffindor being the obvious example), but that it fell out of practice close to when it did with muggle society. Swords were way more common in the past, and I could see a great amount of potential in magically imbued metals. God, some wizards might have even found a way to turn a sword into a wand by forging it with wandcore material somehow, or having the handle made out of it. Channeling magic through your sword as well as your wand sounds badass to me!

I like to think that most noble wizard families have an ancestral sword tucked away somewhere, and that it's seen as some sort of status symbol.

Maybe I'll work it into all your secrets (all my lies) somewhere 🤔...

Out of all your Tumblr Aus, which one is your favorite? Which was fun to write for?

Currently it’s probably all your secrets (all my lies). I just…really adore the idea of it, and the depth of the plot and dynamics that I’ve got planned for it. I think it’ll be a fun exploration of a darker Regulus than is in The Lone Wolf Dies.

Regulus is a wild card in that AU, and his determination to destroy Voldemort is consuming to the point of self-destruction. I think following that journey would be fascinating.
