Azeraphale has been caught snoozen in the car
Don’t mind me I’m just sitting over here wondering if as the Original Tempter Crowley has some feelings of responsibility over humans— as he is technically the catalyst for why we’re in this whole mess— and if he worries about if it was all worth it. He himself was cast out of heaven for the sin of curiosity and doubt (presumably), the seeking of forbidden knowledge when he was not made to question. So does he wonder if he accidentally doomed us to the same fate? That in an attempt to extend the knowledge he was so harshly refused he only extended the cycle of pain to all of Her other creatures, tainting the humans with what heaven considered his most fatal flaw? And yet, in the same breath he also was the catalyst of free will, of art, of choice and the ability to learn, headless of the consequences that come with the answers and freedom that he could never find. Does he ever think that regardless of the nature of freedom, whether he did right or wrong, that he would do it again in a heartbeat just to know and have met Aziraphale? Does he wonder if that means that they were ineffable? And is he bothered by the idea that they didn’t truly have a choice in the matter at all? That the side they carved out for themselves in the earth was in fact paved away for them from the Beginning, by Her. Does he—
Short filmography - Michael Sheen
A soft ball of talent
I swear i have seen these two before somewhere
so I saw Good Omens... (O W O) and then i saw it again and again and...
If I see one more person call Good Omens queerbaiting i’m going to lose my mind. Let me, a veteran fan like many others, say it again
IT. IS. CANON.
Neil has many times stated that it is a love story, Michael Sheen and David Tennant have spoken openly that they played the characters as in love. It’s been confirmed enough and just because it wasn’t explicit in the show does not mean it wasn’t canon. Please do your research before you come for Neil about anything.
