Oh-- He found his way to the overworld. Mainly thanks to Chihiro but he can't exactly roam around Tokyo looking like the way he is. Since tattoos are...considerably taboo. And well, he doesn't exactly have proper clothing. So he is here to bother Kaede while Chihiro runs some errands. Naoki was.... freeloading roommate of some sorts.

"Woah!! Naoki-kun....! Ahhh...you and these bugs, I tell you.." She slumps her shoulders, before giving a sheepish laugh. Happy as she is to see Naoki, she does not exactly like cooking bugs...! And yes, she knows that cooked bugs are a delicacy in some places (she will never understand why....), she's still not a fan! But for Naoki-and only for Naoki-she will do it....

Walking closer to him, she asks: "How did you get here, actually! Don't you usually need Chihiro-kun to bring you here....?" Since he apparently doesn't seem to be here with him right now..

"B-But alright, fine.. what's the bug that you want me to cook?"

"Listen, you don't have to...indulge in Chihiro's little Kamen Rider fantasy. The guy is in his own little world and is tryin' to make the best of a dire situation-- A normie sidekick? Like really? I swear that guy has nothin' going on in his brain."

"I.... I-I know, but...." He sheepishly scratches his cheek. "Chihiro-kun always looks so happy when he can talk about Kamen Rider. How can I not indulge him? Plus I don't really mind doing so... I'd rather him try to look at things in a happier light, then being in constant distress about everything he's dealing with, you know?"

He winces just a bit at that 'normie' part... Oh how he wishes Chihiro would excluded that part...! "A-Ahaha... he said I could be that role, for moral support. Not that he's wrong, since that's all I can really do for him, anyway, but...." The way he worded it certainly didn't help it seem like it's a role he should feel proud of being....

"B-But yes, that's me. The "normie sidekick" to Kamen Rider Chihiro. H-Hahaha...."

*At least it was only relics, while hard to come by were still obtainable and they were still alive. Well...rather his new companion was still alive. Due to some...circumstances he couldn't really die. With a sigh the male would look around for the quickest way out.*

" So what's your deal? I know how I'm in this situation but what about you?"

"You asked how I got my powers...So who's really at fault here. Eat the bug."

"Y-You two...." She just gives an exasperated slump of her shoulders, seeing Naoki chase the terrified god with that bug.. In the most loving way she could put it: these two could be so ridiculous, sometimes...

The moment Chihiro hides behind her, Kaede is extending both her arms out to block Naoki from reaching him, but not before giving a light karate chop up against his head!!

"Naoki-kun!! Stop bullying Chihiro-kun!! You don't have to make him eat the bug just for him to understand! Geez!!"

{Different Ways to Hug Someone }

That demon... had been an especially cruel and conniving one. It must have known how important Kaede was to Chihiro... and why, at the perfect it could: swooped Kaede up and took her away. It was probably the most terrified she's ever felt in her life... in that scary, unfamiliar place wherever the demon took her, constantly taunting that he won't be able to save her. That she's going to die alone, and in pain.

But she refused to believe that; scared as she was, she didn't want to believe she was really going to die. She knows that Chihiro will save her. No matter how long it may take, he'll surely find her, and come for her... and just as she expected, he did. He found where she was being held, and saved her...

He could probably feel how much she was shaking, as he put that protective barrier around them. That demon truly terrified her... but now she was safe, she was okay. In his arms... and the moment he held her close like that, she finally broke down. "A...A-Aaa...! Waaaaah!!!" In a heartbeat, Kaede wraps her arms around him to return the hug just as tightly. Usually, she was never one to cry in front of others. In fact, this would be the first time he's ever seen her cry... but right now, she couldn't even try to hold it in. Out of relief, out of happiness, out of the hope she held in her heart the entire time she had been captured that he would come to save her: it all bubbled up in her, coming out through the tears and sobs she gives.

"U...Ueha....Chihiro!! Chihiro-kun!!" She calls out his first name... "I-I was....I was so scared....th-that demon, it....i-it kept saying th-that you weren't going to come...th-that you wouldn't make it on time....b-but I never believed it. I-I knew that....you would save me....I knew in my heart that Chihiro-kun would come for me...! I-I'm so happy....hhhhgghhhh...."

the child-like demon seemed to like kaede! alice runs off with a few treats that chef prepared for her outer-worldly tea party. her eerie yet cheerful giggle fades as she walks away from the two.... the chef was curious about this parallel tokyo, it being dangerous, chihiro opts to bringing her to a demon haunt, where his demon team and himself were away from the more harsher areas. "you’re so brave. befriending demons as a human... they can't get pretty snarky with me. but alice needed a friend and she's a good kid, despite all the whole 'die' for me thing." @azure-summoner

"Aww, you think so? I'm so happy I could become friends with Alice and make her treats for her tea party~!" She waves goodbye to Alice after handing her the basket of treats, before shouting out her to her: "Have fun, Alice! I hope you and everyone will enjoy the treats!" A plentiful amount, that should surely satisfy all the demons who will enjoy it.... And Kaede likes Alice, too: so she was very much happy the child warmed up to her and was delighted at the treats...

Looking back up at Chihiro once Alice disappeared in the distance, her smile warms at his words, cheeks turning a light pink. "E-Ehehe....thank youuu..." A parallel world of Tokyo riddled with demons: something one would think Kaede would never want to see, but she was far too curious, so she begged Chihiro to bring her here. But even as she was brought to the safer areas, it was still so hard to believe that this was all real.... and that Chihiro was a demi-god, who can change his form completely and everything! She thinks he looks really cool... (and super hot and pretty, too, but she always thinks he does, anyway!) And if she wasn't already a smitten mess: him protecting her the whole while until they reached safety, only made her fall for him harder...

"But of course! Uehara-kun's friends are my friends, too! I could never be scared of them... hahaha, that just shows they really love you! She is!! I'm so happy she accepted me as a friend... Heheh, I guess it's just her thing? Really though, I never imagined I would make so many demon friends, too... but it's such a nice surprise! They're not all scary as they seem.... just like us, they all have their own personalities, thoughts, what they like, don't like... You truly have a wonderful team of demons, Uehara-kun.... I just know they feel reassured, having someone as strong and cool as you recruiting them, hehehe! Especially in a crazy world like this! I want to befriend all the demons you make friends with, too, okay? Just like with Alice! And then, I'll continue to make even more treats for everyone, hehehe! And for you as well, of course! And Aogami-san! I'm gonna go alll out for you guys, hehehe~!"

"Little lady, the young man insisted I bring him to your lab based on a text you had sent him..."

The Porto-Fiend was just in bad shape as Chihiro was. Though, it seemed like Chihiro was already patched up by Bethel's doctors... And definitely got the worse of the two. Chihiro was being carried by Aogami on his back-- While demons aren't supposed to feel... Aogami was quite worried about bringing him here-- Since Chihiro was still recovering.

'I never seen the boy so excited to eat-- He's been neglecting his meal times... I could only assume you made something for him to eat.'

That was partially why he was in bad shape-- With the Nether Tokyo's... issues, Chihiro was left to clean it up. Aka, deal with demons causing havoc in the overworld. @azure-summoner / HEHEHE, get demon dad'd

Kaede knows Chihiro is more than capable of handling himself out there, in that Nether Tokyo...but it still didn't make her worry any less about him, especially when it looked like he was even busier than usual taking care of those demons. So she had texted him to let her know the moment he's back and that he's okay. Just to ease her worries... And of course: that she'll have a nice, filling meal waiting for him, like always...

And normally, she would have been happy to see him! Until she saw an injured Aogami, and an even more injured looking Chihiro on his back, enter her lab. "Ah?!" Immediately, she got out of her seat and ran over to them in a panic. "A...! Aogami-san! Uehara-kun!! A-Are you guys okay?!"

As she listens to Aogami, she tries to calm herself down. Noticing that it looked like Chihiro was already tended to, thankfully, but he still looked like he was badly hurt... she was honestly surprised he still wanted to be brought here this soon...

"I... I see... y-yes, I texted him that the moment he was back in our world, to let me know. I was so worried about you guys... b...but is it okay for him to be here so soon? I-I'm very happy to see you two, of course. But he still looks so injured....you guys should rest.... Ah- h-hehe... he was that excited, huh? Yeah... I know he doesn't really get any filling meals, if any, when he's working out there, so I made him a big bento!"

Which was the big, wrapped box sitting on the table. Of course filled with many different things she knows he likes... "Don't worry, Aogami-san: I made plenty of food, so he'll be able to enjoy himself a nice dinner when he wakes up! And you should have some, too, okay? I want you both to feel better after all that fighting you were doing out there...!"
