“SHAME.” A jest among the stars, with sun shone eyes, hiding a smile, maybe some disappointment. She expected no less of her team, though always hoping for some experience to shove them, only for them to push back and grow. “Your face could have used a scar or two, make you look intimidating.”

Missions like this one definitely weren’t her favourites. Fighting against criminals to stop them was obvious and clear, whereas this mission brought more questions than answers. Robin probably didn’t exactly help either, since he seemingly wanted to keep as many details secret as possible.

The red-head let her eyes wander while replying, to make sure that no other guard was around.

“Of course I would also wish for you to be able to return to your home soon, but yes, the concerns I was voicing are about this mission. It is... unusual that we do not get the details, or the reason behind our task. And I certainly feel like there are details known.” Just, hopefully this wouldn’t lead to another round of Robin doing his own thing and not telling his team. Oh how she hated when that happens.

As a leader, the girl could not let herself succumb to despair no matter what. She knew that, but just knowing was not enough. She had to understand and, most importantly, feel it. Was she scared? Yes. Moreover, she was terrified. But she made her choice a long, long time ago and now there was no way back. Thus, she forced herself to smile once she looked at him.

Remain cheerful no matter what.

“Yeah.” Sound cheerful no matter what. There is still hope after all and you know it. “The sooner we get this over with, the better, right? So never give up, we will think of something! No matter how rough things get... tomorrow is another day.”

Lye smiled softly as she walked a camera hanging around her neck, it was a hobby she had picked up after Azure had died. She had need something to distract herself and fighting wasn’t do much to distract her. This was her favorite park it was also the park where they had their fight, she sighed shaking her head at the memory. Her ears perked up at the voice behind her, no it couldn’t be. This wouldn’t be the first time she had mistaken someone for him, she saw him in any guy with black hair, though the voices sounded so much like him or maybe she was hearing things. “Just going for a st...” She stopped mid sentence as she turned to the source of the voice. She took a step back in surprise, it was him. It wasn’t just her imagination playing tricks on her. Her eyes flicker red Semblance activating at the sudden mix of emotions, she was angry and sad and relieved at the same time. She raised her hand she wanted to hit him though her fingers curled as tears slipped from her eyes. 

“You’re such an idiot!” She managed to get out as she moved her hands quickly rubbing away the tears, they gained the attention from a few other people in the park.

She took a deep breath, it had been a year since she seen any of her family, friends. It had been a year since she had seen Azure. She had gotten in some trouble before she originally left, she thought she could handle it herself resulting in her pulling away from people and ending up having arguments with those close to her. One of those people was Azure, they had fought before everything happened. She had finally handled the trouble she had gotten into, she just wanted to see him again to apologize. 

She took a deep breath fiddling with the hood she wore, she check the address making sure it was his before approaching the door. She moved the hood her ears standing, she fixed her hair. She had cut it into a bob finding it easier to manage than her usual braid.

“Come on Lye... You have to...” She whispered to herself as she hesitantly lifted a hand knocking on the door of the house, white rabbit ears shifted listening for footsteps.
