In 1989, Tina Turner collaborated with photographer Peter Lindbergh and designer Azzedine Alaïa to be part of her creative team as she promoted her seventh solo album Foreign Affair (1989).

Tina was close to age 50 at the time of this photography project, and this iconic shot was taken in Paris on the Eiffel Tower.
