Emma Frost is an antihero, a teacher & businesswoman, the willful & wily White Queen; born to a life of wealth & privilege (+ gifted w/ the mutant power of Telepathy), she started out scheming for the Hellfire Club; it was only when her recruits/students (the Hellions) lost their lives, that she began to reform; later, another tragedy triggered the emergence of a secondary mutation, the power to change into a form of diamond, at will; at times, she relapses into villainy, or at least gray morality (ie Phoenix Five, Illuminati), but on her best days, she teams w/ heroes, most often the X-Men & related mutant efforts (ie the students of Generation X, the Marauders & Krakoa's Quiet Council)!
