They connect from day one and spend the next decade fighting their feelings for each other, until the truth explodes in both their faces.
Yes it has cheating. But it’s not “omg how could they”. It is “there are two sides to every story” sort of cheating - and I didn’t mind that. The truth comes out and it’s raw, honest and was written correctly.
I really liked River. I felt connected to her and I was so sad when we find out the truth about her birth mum. But I also am grateful she has found a real family. Karma.
Overall, 4 Stars⭐⭐⭐⭐
The ending was perfect, including the epilogue. And I’m now going on to read Charlie’s story in The Truth about Tomorrow.
