HELLO KEY ONCE AGAIN IM HERE. this time im on a boardwalk at the beach

the first time mumbo gets his hands on redstone, he quickly works on being a master at it cause he doesnt want to disappoint etho since ethos his best friend’s roommate.

mumbo shows up, its the dead of night, and he’s sitting outside their dorm when etho and iskall come back from their ramen run. iskall raises his eyebrow like “you spoon what are you doing here? aren’t you usually asleep by this time?” and etho is eyeing his hands like “you got redstone?” and mumbo grins like “yeah!! i have something to show you etho!!” and he pulls out this tiny clock and etho gasps like “dude! i designed that clock! you actually made it?” and mumbo is so happy that he’s made etho proud

I like to think Mumbo looks at Grian’s book of etho and sees his inventions and goes “I bet I could do that” and shows it off to Etho and Doc.

Mumbo is struggling with a project and Etho and Dod make eye contact. both subtly use their powers to give him an idea of where to go. However, it works too well and Mumbo creates what is basically Ultron. Doc shuts that down real quick and Mumbo thinks he failed. Doc and Etho feel really bad but they cannot have something like that being invented. They don’t even know how he invented that.

One time when the three are messing with redstone they offhandedly mention Mumbo’s skills are so good if X didn’t have a ban he probably would have been made a god. Mumbo is floored because 1) that’s new info for Grian and 2) that’s one of the biggest compliments hes ever received.
