First came the claim that it was ‘‘impossible’’ to explain quantum phenomena in terms of individual particle movements. Then, when this was shown to be incorrect, the criticism changed to ‘‘this teaches us nothing new. Why add the metaphysical baggage of actual particles when the Bohm momentum pB = ∇S and the kinetic energy cannot be measured.’’ But even this criticism has now been shown to be wrong with the appearance of weak measurements.
