TWD Compare/Contrasts in 6.02, 'JSS'

Wow-loved seeing the use of cigarettes in tonight’s episode, as my extravagant friend pointed out, circling back to Daryl’s cigarette choices in 5- B as “ feeling it / not feeling it”.

Also the use of scissors as a weapon! First by Jessie with no weapons training, yet able to kill an attacker. Then compared to Beth’s ineffectual death at Grady, despite her extensive weapons training and usage at the prison.

Really loving how the writers are circling back to previous seasons with imagery and actions. Underscores how sometimes internal strength or “mama bear instincts” as AB said on TDead can tip the balance.

Bitter much? What a shame an actor chose not to promote both cast members in the episode tonight and show the same graciousness shown to her by the entire cast. Despite her tweet claiming to support the show, still behaving like a brat!
