Some goofy shit that hapened while I was playin' Back 4 Blood offline with bots. Of course when I'm playin' by myself I like to use an app called WeMod (which is a fun little cheat trainer for single player games that doesn't disable achievements, but I digress) I was usin' the cheat trainer for B4B, when this funny little thing occurred. I pressed a button or... somethin'... and suddenly Holly just drops dead, and I'd revive her with the defibrillator, but then she'd die again. Oh, and every time she fell she'd drop a pipe bomb, hence the repeated explosions.

evangelo: <3 physical touch <3 evangelo will not keep his hands to himself. he’s either holding your hand, giving you a hug, playing with your hair, literally anything that involves consensually touching he’s just in love with holding you. will absolutely melt if you play with his hair too.

walker: i feel like acts of service would be his. any chance to ease any weight off him will be a great help; bringing him some food or taking over his fort hope work will help in the long run. tending to his wound on the field is a great way to get his love.

holly: quality time! quality time 1000% holly just loves spending time with others (mainly bc she just does not want to be alone) going on ridden slaying dates or playing some card games at the library is just an absolute great time for her.

mom: mom's a tough cookie for me tbh. there's not much info on her love for people besides her son, who she adored a lot. quality time seems like a major one because she would rather spend time with others than be alone. 

doc: receiving gifts, i mean c’mon, she loves getting candy from others and small little trinkets. she happily puts her things either in the makeshift fort hope clinic or her tent. 

hoffman: words of affirmation definitely. baby has been verbally bullied all his life and especially now that he's a total conspiracy theorist a lot of ppl think he's weird. talking to him about his interests and let him talk even tho you probably don't agree with it lol.

jim: it’s easy to say he’s a quality time type of guy, he loves spending time with people. whether it’s going fishing or hunting, he’s down to spend time with you. over time once a bond is formed, he will be open to physical touch and it feels like hugging a giant bear. <3 karlee: acts of service when you’re friends, and physical touch when you guys are super super close. and you have to be incredibly close for her to get comfortable with physical touch. giving her some food and letting her get some rest when out on missions will get her to open up.

heng: quality time!! during his punk and restaurant days, he loved spending time with others, getting to know them. now that he’s in fort hope when he’s not out doing missions, he’s in the kitchen making delicious recipes with the food they have in stock. which usually entails tomatoes and lettuce lol.

sharice: it’s hard to think bc she fits into all of these tbh! except receiving gifts, she doesn’t know what to do with them lol. she’s definitely a people person since she loved her crew very much before they passed and she cares for the current cleaners very much. sharice would be the type of person who loves holding your hand or giving out hugs every once in a while.

jim: sure but if the waters ever get safe again don’t think i won’t use you as fish bait

karlee: why a worm tho? why not like a snail or something. but yes i still date you if you’re a worm

heng: (doesn’t even entertain the idea) no sharice: yes but i’ll probably feed you to a bird by accident tho

hiiiiiii thought you saw the last of me HA after months of thinking a story to make over and over i finally made one 😎 hope anon who requested it is still around words: 884

You knew you were in deep shit when both of your weapon’s ran out of ammo. Lost and with a dead radio, which batteries you didn't think to change, finding your way back to Fort Hope in this Devil-Worm waste land will have to acquire a fucking miracle. Taking a moment to sit in an empty house you found, you think of ways to find safety. 'Retracing my steps might be the safest option.' you think to yourself, 'Then I'd be able to find ammo others left behind and get back home.'

Before you leave, you check the house to see if there is anything you can use to defend yourself. Thankfully you found kitchen knives that still have its edge. Having a melee weapon will surely help you survive this scenario. As you begin to walk towards the door, you hear the floor boards creaking as if someone was walking in. You gripped the knife in your hand tightly, holding it out in front of you as you made your way to the exit. You managed to survive a year of these things, this one possible Ridden won't stand a chance against you. 

The noises get louder the closer you are to the living room. Sounds of rummaging can be clearly heard. Your heartbeat pounds in your chest with every step you take. You say 'Fuck it' as you walk faster to the room, turning the corner and quickly taking a jab at the thing in front of you.

You hear a grunting sound, like someone has been wounded. Too human to be one of those things. You finally take a look at whatever was in front of you and realize the “thing” you attacked was none other than Jim, a member of the finest cleaner crews in Fort Hope. Also known as one of your closest friends there. “Damn, if I would’ve known you’d attack me, I’d stay home.”

“Fuck! Jim, I’m sorry. I don’t know why I’ve been so on edge.” You stash the knife in a pocket your backpack had. “I’m glad I found you, are you alright?” He asks concerningly as if he didn't have blood slowly oozing from the place you stabbed him. You explain to him the situation you were in, how you never meant to get lost but somehow you did. "We need to get you home." "You're bleeding, let me take care of it." You took off your backpack to search for medical equipment but the next thing you know he’s standing by the door, waiting for you to get a move on.

"Agh, nothing some spit and tape won't fix.” Unamused, you shoved the bandages back in your bag. You told him you ran out of ammo despite being careful with every shot you made. You were thankful he gave you some, reloading both weapons before joining by his side to leave. As you hear Jim radio in that you have been found and being taken to the closest saferoom, you begin to reflect on what went wrong and how the hell you got lost for a simple delivery mission. It’s not like you’re afraid to be out alone, you’ve done so a couple of times at your old settlement near the town you grew up in. But now you’re in Finleyville, miles away, in a foreign town despite living there for a while now. Everyone else was busy so you volunteered to do it but should’ve brushed up on the map before you left. "I never liked these creatures." Jim says, snapping you back to reality, as he snipes common Ridden from a distance. You can hear the sincerity in his words. "That, I could agree with.” The sounds Ridden made always kept you on edge. It began a habit of having difficulty sleeping especially when 99% of the time you hear them howling and growling in the night. “You would think having a year of them would cause you to get used to them, but you never-."

"Quiet now, I hear something." You didn’t realize something was nearby until something jumped in front of you. You managed to move to the side just in time for Jim to be tackled to the ground. Despite your quick reaction to removing the sleeper from him, he ends up being scratched all over his arms. “Another scar for the collection.” He says as he stands up, probably mentally cursing himself for not hearing it earlier.

However, once again, Jim seems to be injured but walks it off instead. Yeah, not on your watch. “Woah, take it easy big boy. We all need a little self care once in a while, so let me patch you up alright?” He slows his movements,  giving you the time to pull out your bandages again and gently clean his wounds. You are no medical expert but doing this for a long time has helped wrap someone up quickly and efficiently. By the time you know it, he is squared away, blood no longer seeping into his clothes. “Thank you Y/N.” You always felt happy hearing him say your name, no matter the circumstance. You give a joyful nod before the two of you safely make your way from saferoom to saferoom all the way back to Fort Hope.

Doc: TRYING HARD NOT TO JUMP W JOY SHE LOVES CANDY SM when u ask her for some she looks at the box and it’s empty

Hoffman: brings up something about his dad that has no relation to the candy but u listen anyway while eating his candy bc u stole it from him

Jim: its his first time eating these bc he was a country boy growing up and doesn’t like the taste so he gives the rest to u

Karlee: tries to pretend she doesn’t give 2 shits about it but deep inside she’s screaming w joy and can’t wait to have some time to eat these
