recursion changes you in more ways than one. the man you once were is not the man you now are.
A gift of sorts for the wonderful baabaabelias of their awesome Transistor AU characters, Hector and Fifth (who are technically the same person but IT'S COMPLICATED). HOPE YOU LIKE.

RULES: Don’t take more than a few minutes. Don’t think too hard. They don’t have to be great works of the gaming industry, just games that have affected you in a positive way. Then tag some friends including me so I can see your list.
Final Fantasy Tactics
Stronghold 2 + Crusader
Kotor 1 and 2
Chrono Cross
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
Twisted Metal 3
Overlord
Medieval 2: Total War
Morrowind
Age of Empires 2
I'ma tag me some... actually I'm too lazy. I barely put these out. I should go back to sleep
Can't remember who reblogged the thing about it, but I'm reading Veniss Underground now.
It would appear I have been chosen by the lovely mmedemerteuil Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag [ten] friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
1) Ender's Game (by Orson Scott Card): My best friend gave me this book in 6th grade and it has traveled with me everywhere. I love it dearly.
2) Beneath The Wheel, also called Prodigy (by Hermann Hesse): I actually just read this book a few weeks ago but... it speaks to me in a way it probably shouldn't.
3) Apathy and Other Small Victories (by Paul Neilan): If I were a drifter, this book would be about me. The way I think is emulated well in this book, and its also super funny.
4) Jennifer Government (by Max Barry): This was the first of Max Barry's books that I read, and I fell in love with both it and his writing almost instantly. Its in a world in which corporations hold all the power, and its one I see arriving very quickly.
5) Machine Man (by Max Barry): The main character of this book achieves something I only dream of. Becoming a cyborg. That about says it all
6) 1984 (by George Orwell): Because I love Big Brother.
7) Les Miserables (by Victor Hugo): This was the only book to make me cry. I love this book.
8) The Amber Spyglass (by Philip Pullman): This book will forever be in my memory because, when I was young, the thought of one man taking on God was... inspiring.
9) Hyperion (by Dan Simmons): This book is phenomenally well written, besides being hands down one of the greatest sci-fi novels I've ever read.
10) The Long Walk (by Stephen King): I just... this book is wonderful and terrible. Quite possibly my favorite Stephen King book.

"I have some fics but I'm shy and don't know if I should upload them."
go ahead, fledgling author, expose your heart to the world, even if your fics aren't the best, you can still--
oh. well then.
Turns out-- turns out you're pretty good.
TIME TO GO BURN EVERYTHING I'VE EVER WRITTEN, THANKS.
I don't want one that's rainbow-coloured and tells you how to fart, I just want it to draw a line through these points!
Schem, on making graphs in Excel.
