I'm not up on my Yugiohs, so it was only today while playing Link Evolution that I found out there's a set of cards based on Babel II and his three servants... and his jet fighter. It doesn't seem like the lore has a Yomi equivalent, which I view as a mistake, because Yomi is very cute.

Anyway, the story of what happened is that I went to the bathroom while the computer was taking its first turn, and came back to the 10* jet fighter card sitting there. So it was only when the computer re-summoned all the others that I realized it was trying to use Babel II against me, of all people 🤓 An amateur mistake!

For the Yugioh fans: the reason Beast Warrior Puma is an easy-to-summon 4* is because Babel II's shape shifting panther Rodem is the most frequently seen of his three servants, while the other two have to be summoned from their hiding places. Mitsuteru Yokoyama was one of the most influential early mangaka, who created some of the earliest entries in the magical girl and mecha genres, as well as an adaptation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms that you may have seen Japanese fandom using as memes. Babel II also inspired things like the desert setting of Stardust Crusaders and Jotaro's "costume" being his school uniform.
