Meetings galore

Im sure you’ve ever sat in a meeting before but the million dollar question is whether you’ve sat in a meeting about another meeting... Well today, the lovely zoo I work at took it one step further, I sat in a meeting today that was about another meeting based on yet another (you guessed it) meeting

This meeting of mine lasted for 2 full hours and the outcome was that we needed to go to a meeting next week to discuss another meeting; go figure. I am pretty sure you are all confused as I am still confused as to what happened in this meeting about another meeting; answer.... NOTHING, we literally discussed nothing, would have been a great episode of Seinfeld 

If all the politicians in this world went to meetings about other meetings of which was based on another meeting, we wouldn’t have the time to actually reach a war as everyone will be busy in meetings; maybe this is the only way to reach world peace; either hire idiots to run the country or just basically have meetings; oh wait!!!! the world is run by idiots and they continuously are in meetings, so where are we on this world peace deal? I am still trying to figure this one out, hmmmm

My revelation

Today’s revelation is a big one, but before I get to it, a bit on how I reached it

Once a week, we have a roundup meeting whereby almost the entire office will gather up in a conference room to either get shit-faced insulted for not hitting the target or that odd moment in the year where we get a round of applause for reaching that said target 

As all weekly meetings goes, you have the leader of the pack who just wont stop talking (cuz he just loves the sound of his voice) about nothing, its almost like a merry go round, with the ride that never wants to end. Eventually the leader will reach some kind of point to this meeting as whether or not we hit or didnt hit the damn target... then BAM, an idiot blurts out “but what does that mean” so here goes another free ride that will last for yet an additional hour about nothingness

On the off chance the leader is away on a business trip or on vacation, a wannabe leader will take his place, because he too, loves the sound of his voice and the merry go round process continues, I am sure you get the point

In today’s meeting, this 15 mins scheduled ride went on for about a couple of hours, with various departments presenting shit that doesn’t make sense as to why they didn’t hit the target... the main presenter today, was a baboon from my department and OMG does she suck at presenting, I mean my 90 year old grandma can present a bit better and faster, for the love of humanity, SHUT THE FUCK UP; and this was my revelation moment... I AM A BABOON TOO and my department is filled with various types of Baboons as I work in a zoo, looking around I realized everyone is a hybrid sort of animal and they all are trying to say something but instead dumb-assed words are just being blurted out, one just wonders why!!!

I WORK IN A ZOO, like how crazy is that, its either I am a baboon too because I am still here or I just find a number 2 pencil and stab myself in the eye to get away from this daily shit torture; I haven’t decided on which option to go with

In conclusion to this; I am a baboon, stuck in a baboon department surrounded by hybrid animals (they ain’t smart enough to be a pure bred animal) and that is my revelation
