Do you have a bullshit corporate job? Do write or make/design content for your job? Then BACK THAT SHIT UP RIGHT NOW. I mean it, save it to a personal drive that no one can take away from you.

Because one day you could be laid off with no warning and your access to your own work could be frozen the moment you find out you lost your job.

And then when you're applying to a new job and they ask for work samples a month into the interview process after several successful rounds, you won't be caught with your pants down and shit out of luck.

Seriously, save everything, everything you do, even if you think it's worthless corporate slop because one day you might need it.

Despite my complaining about work so much, probably the coolest thing I get to do is help change the names of other trans employees on our systems. Since coming out, I've learned about 3 trans women who work for our company on our Philippines team and have helped them switch their names over in all our various applications. It's really rewarding to know that me being out at HQ has helped facilitate their coming out at work too.
