Some of the most incredible displays of patience and understanding I’ve ever seen is from men dealing with their pregnant wives/partners. Like she is unhappy about everything, very demanding, generally miserable and not fun to be around...but he does everything she asks (if it’s within his power) and lets so much slide. I remember seeing that and thinking, what is it like for pregnant women who DON’T have that kind of partner around? What if their partner is like, “you’re being unreasonable, I’m not going to make you oatmeal with peanut butter, it’s 2am.” 

I guess I’m just saying I think her discomfort is real and I wonder how Michael reacts to it.

Baby Baker's first chocolate chip cookies! As said, I'm a good cook but never been a baker. So taking baby steps and trying things lately. I asked around for some super basic recipes. No nuts, oatmeal, fruit, etc. Simple. Both baking & non-baking pals gave suggestions. I did go w/ a baking pal! (Thanks Adrienne!) :) Thanks to everyone else. I will def try other recipes. - Recipe said to make tbsp sized balls and I think I made them slightly a bit too big. But besides that...they turned out pretty good! Yeah, I'm shocked too. :) I was curious about this recipe as it involved honey & that sort of threw me off. But it worked! I also combined chips & chocolate chunks (cut up a giant Hershey's dark chocolate bar) & thought I may have put too much in but it seems to have worked out. Baby baker is at it again! As you know, I can cook like a MFer but have never really tried baking. Well, desserts that is. Decided to try some chocolate chip pumpkin bread this time around. I used Gemma Stafford's recipe of Bigger Bolder Baking. She's great for beginners and more experienced peeps. Well, I used her pumpkin bread recipe and added chocolate chips & chunks. And I didn't make the glaze. - Also, I don't have a proper bread pan so I used 2 smaller disposable ones & watched the time. I think I got it right! They turned out pretty good. Held together better than the banana bread I made last week. Deelish! - I need to try some basic chocolate chip cookies next time. But also, I'm afraid to get into baking as I'll do it all the time & then eat tons & turn my chub rock Asian self into an even chubbier rockier Asianier (can I be Asianier?). Still a baby baker and have never really done it. Tried some banana chocolate chunk muffins again. Didn’t turn out as great as last time as I think I should have removed them from oven maybe a few minutes before.
