Some baby art/sketches I did. Can be interpreted as Tommyinnit or any baby you desire.
This art is inspired/referenced from the artist "pres shmeck". Who's style and art I really enjoy and am trying to study to grow my skills and develop my own natural style.
Summary: Dream tried to resurrect Tommy but it didn’t work, at least not the way Dream had planned for it to work. Tommy indeed was resurrected but as a Toddler. Now, Jack and Niki are trying to figure out what to do with a Toddler Tommy Innit. Then Jack gets an idea, they would raise Tommy correctly this time.
TW: Mention of Character Death, Revive Character, BabyInnit (he's around one/one and half), Mention of Child Neglect, Mention of Wars, Mention of Exile.
(Manifold Hotel)
Jack and Niki sat around the Kitchen table in the Hotel hot chocolate in both hands. A basket with baby Tommy Innit sound asleep in a chair next to them. After Jack got the message of Tommy being killed by Dream in the prison, he honestly didn’t know how to feel about it! He felt, he didn’t what he felt! He should feel joy! Happiness! The pain in the ass and the cause of so much trouble and everyone’s misery is finally gone! But at the same time, Jack felt anger? Hurt? But why? Why was he feeling this way? Tommy didn’t care! He never cared about anyone but himself!
Jack took a deep breath, to calm himself down. No, that wasn’t true. Tommy did care. He cared about L’Manbur. He cared about Wilbur. He cared about Tubbo and Ranboo. Tommy cared about Techno (for whatever reason). Tommy cared about Phil (good Primes why?).
Maybe, maybe that was the key to all of this? The people that Tommy cared about didn’t care about him and Tommy kept putting himself through so much just to what? Prove that he’s finally worth their love? Good Primes, was that what all this was about? Tommy trying to prove to the people that could care less if he died that he was actually worth their love? Oh. OH! Now, it finally made sense!
“Jack?” Niki asked, bringing Jack back to reality. “You okay? I’ve been calling your name for about five minutes.”
“Sorry Niki,” Jack apologized. “I zoned out. Trying to figure things out, you know?”
“Yeah, I know,” Niki said. “So, what do we do about him?” Niki gestured to the sleeping baby. “I mean we can’t - we can’t kill him! I know we’ve been trying to but - it just - it doesn’t feel right doing that to a baby! I mean he’s what, one? Maybe a little older than that?”
“I’ve been thinking about that,” Jack answered, taking a long swig of his hot chocolate. “Look, we both saw the message and Sam confirmed it. Dream killed Tommy and tried to revive him but it didn’t work? Or at least not the way Dream intended to work.”
Niki nodded, showing that she was paying attention.
“So, I was thinking that. We raise Tommy,” Jack continued. “Niki, think about it!” Jack cut her off. “This is a second chance to get this right! Tommy acted the way he acted because no one cared! At least not the people that Tommy kept trying to get the approval from. Think about it! Why else would he have gone to Techno instead of Sam or Eret? Why else would Tommy constantly stick around Wilbur even when we saw that he was losing it? Why else would Tommy keep sticking up for Ghostbur when Ghostbur barely remembers anything that isn’t a “Good Memory” when Alivebur was around? Why else would Tommy keep going toe to toe with Dream even after Phil teamed up with him?”
“It’s because Tommy kept trying to get their approval! To finally prove to them that he’s worth their love! Even Tubbo fell into that category a bit but I couldn’t blame Tubbo for that! It was either Tommy got exiled or L’Manburg was gone, but the dude never took time to visit Tommy except after the failed execution. I doubt even Tommy knew what happened. But Tubbo didn’t have to hand Tommy over to Dream knowing their history and yet he was shocked, that Dream. I don’t even know what happened in exile but Tommy literally keeps getting this look in his eyes the same way Ghostbur does when he’s about to forget something or trying to remember something bad that just happened.” Jack took another swig of his drink before continuing.
“Look, Niki. This is our chance to do right! We can raise Tommy right! Phil was never around! He was always off on some adventure only returning for about a month or two before heading off again. Literally handing being a parent over to his teenage son, because he didn’t want to parent another child and be tied down. Wilbur literally lost it! I don't know what happened, but Wilbur lost it! He was literally planning on killing Tommy on that stage with him when set off the TNT. That’s why he gave Tommy the position of President!” Jack exclaimed, coming to the conclusion of what happened that day. Getting up Jack started to pace back and forth.
“Tommy was supposed to take the position of President and give the speech while Wilbur went to the button and set them off! Only Tommy turned it down and Tubbo took it. Phil came but Wilbur still set them off with the help of Techno and killed Wilbur. Tommy saw the whole thing but still tried to prove to Phil that he still had another son. Techno just didn’t care. He was always off on some tournament or off on adventure with Phil.”
“It’s no wonder Tommy ended up the way he did. No one told him to stop. Tommy wanted his family to finally see him. So, he didn’t the only way he knew how. By getting their attention in the negative way because he finally had their attention. It makes sense now! Oh my Primes!”
The sound of the chair scraping against the wood floor was the only sign Jack had before Niki placed her hand on his shoulder. Then she brought him into a hug.
“Niki, we could be Tommy’s parents. We could raise Tommy right! Think about it! Dream’s in prison but he thinks the Revive Book didn’t work! So, why breakout? Why leave the prison when the one person that he would go after is dead and the Revive Book didn’t work? Techno is retired! So, we don’t have to worry about him. And there’s no more wars! As a matter of fact, if we raise Tommy right. Then we won’t have to worry about conflict at all! Because Tommy would know not to start anything, would know that he is loved, and that he didn’t have to do something majorly stupid to try and prove that he’s worth our love and care. Because we show him that we do!”
“What about Tubbo and Ranboo? Wouldn’t they get suspicious if we showed up with a baby boy that looked like Tommy?” Niki asked, giving her friend a skeptical look. The more Jac spoke, the more Niki started to think that Jack might have a point.
“We’ll hold a funeral. That way no one would know that Tommy’s alive! We might have to get Sam to make a fake body and just tell everyone that Dream threw the body in the lava and we are just giving the people and Tommy some semblance. And as far as our “son?” He’s a child that he found! We were getting materials for a house or another base or something and we found a child. There was no one around so we took him in and no one in the villages nearby knew who the parents were so we adopted him.”
“That could work,” Niki said slowly, thinking it over in her head. They could do this. If everyone thought that Tommy was dead and Dream believed that the Revive Book didn’t work. Then they could raise Tommy right and there would be no more wars.
So, why did Niki have this horrible feeling of foreboding?
This video made me quite literally unlock a new emotion
Look at him go! WTF! He was so goddamn happy!
Also, after watching the video, I have determined that 14-year-old Tommy would either be that guy that annoyed the shit out of me that I would pick fights about everything he did, or the guy I had a huge crush on. In fifth grade. Man. I literally have an exact example of both of those people in my head, depending on how he acts irl, he could fit SO easily into either category.
Surprise! An update!

Tommy's sick! How utterly horrible! He needs heroes! He needs doctors! He needs-well an adult. But unfortunately only Phil is there to do anything to help him.
