My neigbours had a baby, which means I got to knit tiny baby socks! My first time knitting top down socks (I'm a toe up kinda person) and my first time using kitcheners stitch! Knit with 100% baby merino in gray with 3 mm needles, I used this ravelry pattern for newborn socks, the cabled version.
They came out so cute! They might be sized more for a 3 month old, but that’s fine. They have a combined weight of 15 grams. I think I will make another pair, this time the ribbed version without cables. I also did the heelflap wrong (sl1 k15 instead of *sl1 k1* to the end), but I think it turned out fine. I just made the same mistake purposefully on the second sock haha.
