presenting: a gender very near and dear to me, under the bachiangest (created by @en8y) and edisicial (i'm not sure if the creator of the gender umbrella is still on this website) umbrellas, as well as the neurogender and religiogender umbrellas.
it's called knowengefallen, from middle english "to know", engel which is the german word for "angel", and gefallen, from the german word that can also mean "to fall" and has connotations, when paired with angels, to mean "fallen angel".
it's a gender that consists of knowingly falling from heaven after a dark secret or disagreements with teachings, embracing your "impurity", understanding that you're not inherently evil for having angry, dark thoughts, for having intense sexual thoughts, or for having thoughts that are intrusive, painful, and anxiety inducing, and for building a new relationship to religion or spirituality for yourself, no matter how it may end up.
it is exclusive to those who have religious trauma (including new age religion trauma) or cult trauma, and it's made with those with obsessive compulsive disorder, schizo obsessive disorder, religious delusions, and scrupulosity in mind.
