While performing back crawl, participants pull using 3 with right arm, 3 left with left arm, 2 right, 2 left, 1 right, and 1 left.
3-count
Focuses on increasing distance per stroke.
Participant takes 3 seconds to complete each arm stroke.
Triple Roll
Focuses on body roll.
Participants swim with hands at side: 6 kicks on left, 6 on right, 1 stroke with left arm. 6 kicks on right, 6 kicks on left, and 1 stroke with right arm. Repeat.
Sky-Bottom
Focuses on preventing dropping elbow in catch.
While swimming back crawl, participants try to touch the sky and bottom of the pool with hand.
Double Dribble
On each stroke, participant does 2 finishes past the hip. Dribble Dribble Shoot (Dribble is down sweep, Shoot is ripping hand out of water).
Fashion Model
Focuses on kicking and roll.
Participants kick with their hands on their hips. They roll to get arm out of water then do six kicks on side then roll to the other side and repeat.
Distance per Stroke
Focuses on increasing arm propulsion.
Participants count the number of strokes to complete a length and then work to decrease the number per length.
Head Still
Swimmer looks at a single object/point on pool deck while swimming.
