I don't particularly like Eloise, I think I've made that pretty plain in several past posts. I think she has a lot of growth to do and action to take, rather than just ranting on and on while still doing nothing, before I can actually get on board with her. I'm gonna stop myself before I go on another rant. The point being, despite how I feel about her, I do agree that the person she ends up with in the book, shouldn't be who that person is in the show. Sorry to the Theloise (sp?) shippers, but I do think she had a pretty good connection with Cressida before she screwed it up. And I do hope they bring Cressida back this or next season, because it's absolute garbage that they shipped her off to some horrible aunt.
Why do I think Eloise is the one who screwed it up you may ask?
Cressida was looking to get out of an engagement to a hundred-year-old lecher, and if Eloise had bothered for two-seconds to take an interest in another person and listen, for two-seconds to someone other than her own voice, she could have done what she won't shut up about and helped someone live that spinster life and not have to marry a grandpa-aged lecher.
