One day there's going to be a questionnaire, something innocuous, a fun thought experiment about how best to torture someone with games and puzzles. Nothing nefarious or illegal or harmful, but in a "what is happening!" kinda wacky wholesome psychological mindfuck way. And there'll be hundreds of suggestions, and thousands of scenarios, and after a while it'll disappear off the face of the internet. There'll be a few screenshotted snippets here and there, some of the people's favorites. Several months go by, people have generally forgotten about it, just one of those weird things that happened once.
And then a year goes by, maybe to the day, maybe a few weeks past, and there's a new season of Game Changer. A brand new episode. People are excited! "Oh shit, what's Sam going to pull this time!" Some may think, as they click into the website. Their minds are already shifting to guess what kind of episode they're about to watch from the snippits of the trailer.
And then they see it, the title of the episode. "Suggestions from the Audience". And it comes back to them, that weird questionnaire from last year. The one that thousands of people replied to. One that they themselves put a few scenarios into. And as the epsiode starts, a grin slowly spreads onto their faces, laughter already bubbling up their throats before Brennan has even set one foot on the Game Changer stage.
They've never been so afraid and thrilled.
