Tyrenic, Nyaisa, Natamai, and Leikael’s parents Nezva Shabre and Jedi Knight Riqr. Nezva was a Mandalorian mercenary who had a hard time keeping to their codes and wasn’t really a fan of fighting, and really didn’t like the way Mandalore was taking the clans. Riqr was a new young knight. They met in the middle of a war and ended up in a cave in. This caused them to actually talk for a bit while they found their way out. This led to secret communications and midnight rendezvous for months until Nezva found out she was pregnant. She was able to mislead everyone about the father for a while convincing her clan and others that it was a warrior who died. But when she got pregnant the second time, less than a year later, she knew it was either come clean about the Jedi or leave. She chose to leave. Making her way to Ord Mantell and leaving her clan name behind, she found a place with the Shabre family, one of the only Mirialan families on Ord and they welcomed her as one of their own, even allowing her to take the family name and raise her children as part of their family. She changed her appearance as much as she could without what she considered drastic changes and tried to keep a low profile. Riqr continued to visit her as often as he could which got easier after the war. He still kept them secret and didn’t spend as much time as he should have with the children, instead spending most of the few hours he was able to spend on any visit with Nezva while the kids were watched over by their aunts or uncles. When he begins to notice Tyrenics power in the force, he tries to convince Nezva to let him join the Jedi. She’s reluctant to send him away, but when he’s 7 she decides that he needs to learn to control his power and the Jedi are better than the Sith at letting their students survive long enough to learn and if she wants to keep her simple life until the other three are grown, she needs to do what everyone is telling her is the right thing to do. So after another long conversation with Riqr, she agrees to him taking Tyrenic to Coruscant to join the Jedi. When Riqr leaves Ord that time, he takes his son with him and tells the Jedi that he met him while he was taking a detour to check the status of Ord and how things were holding there. This was 7 years before the end of the war

Isatenyr Sroki

Isatenyr is a young sith pureblood found by the Jedi order in a shuttle floating in space. When the shuttle didn’t respond to any messages, it was brought aboard the larger ship that found it. Upon boarding, they found her parents dead with no clear cause and Isatenyr tucked away in a sealed room at the back of the ship. The ships records confirmed she was the daughter of the dead couple and so the Jedi took her in. They were never able to figure out how or why her parents had died. She is the padawan of Shelerik Coro. Though Shelerik is given the oppurtunity to train a Mirialan padawan and that means a lot to him as a mark of acceptance, he knows that Praven is still a padawan himself and that Isatenyr will likely share some of his same struggles trying to accept himself as part Sith Pureblood and a Jedi so he chooses to take her as his padawan instead.

Isatenyr joins Shelerik as one of the 5 Jedi aboard Tyrenic’s ship. Though Shelerik, Tyrenic and Kira are careful to make sure that she is never left alone with Scourge as the early padawan years are an especially vulnerable time and while there is nothing wrong with learning about her species and culture, they don’t want him teaching her the dark side. 

While sometimes hesitant to take initative, she is strong and focused, sometimes to a worrying degree. She often has to be told to stop training and rest to which she usually responds that the person telling her that should take their own advice. She bonds slowly with Shelerik and the rest of the crew though she gets along with them well, convinced that any day Shelerik will send her back to the temple. Once she does finally allow herself to settle in enough to have the master/apprentice bond, she is fiercely loyal to Shelerik to a degree that she’d probably even go against the council and the Jedi if he were to ask it of her. Luckily, they are both Jedi and that isn’t something she is concerned about.

Garen

Garen is hired muscle on the Lady Luck. He was recruited by Korgran because of his willingness to get into a fight and but also willing to do actual work that wasn’t fighting like carrying heavy things or doing repairs. He’s one of the quieter members of the crew, but friendly and welcoming when you get him to open up. He’s been on the ship for almost thirteen years. Of those, he’s been in a relationship with the ships engineer Flash for 12 and they’ve been married a bit more then a decade. 

He became a sort of adopted uncle/big brother figure to Leikael and was one of the first to suggest that they get her ship repairs finished for her as a lifeday gift. He’s sort of the go to guy when you want to get someone a really meaningful personal gift.

Nordan is Nyaisa’s horrible ex. Having been punched, thrown and publicly humiliated by 3 members of Havoc Squad for his own actions, he has a hatred of the squad that doesn’t abate with time. He’s a Lieutenant in the Republic Army and to his endless fury, during his time in the Army, he is never able to attain a higher rank. Born on Coruscant, he was on Corellia with his family during the Sacking and joined the Republic Army in an effort to gain status, respect and power for himself as well as maintaining his family image. He often says that it’s because of what the Empire did to his homeworld, and while there is some truth in that, it is not the primary reason. He had a plan to use his military service and military partner to rise through the ranks, gain influence and popularity before transforming it into a political career.

Due to his issues with Women and his xenophobia, he isn’t well liked by his fellow soldiers or his superiors, however he follows orders well enough to stay in the army. He doesn’t rise through the ranks however due to his issues with his superiors and others and the fact that while good, he is not more than an average soldier with a high opinion of himself. He ends up removed from his squad and sent on a punishment assignment for his behavior towards Nya and misuse of military communications. His assignment was Hoth and it was during his stay here that he received an offer from the empire that he accepted. Eventually, he recognizes that he will never rise enough to kickstart a political career of any importance and becomes disillusioned and infuriated with the Republic, making him an easy target for manipulation. While ultimately the plan that he concocted failed, he had done his part and was offered a position in the Imperial military that he accepted.

If you think this boy looks familiar, you’d be right. He’s from the big group shot of Zash’s apprentices at the end of chapter one of the inquisitor’s story. I couldn’t find a name or any info on the apprentices beyond the main two introduced, so I created it myself.

Kensco is the first Sith in his family and really wants to prove himself. He works with Elazari’s other apprentices that she took from Zash to help her defeat Thanaton, but when they are able to escape offworld, he and a few others are trapped on DK. He’s being hunted by Thanaton’s assassins and hiding in the Jungle regretting his life choices when Elazari shows up and saves him. He then joins the rest of her apprentices on her ship where he very quickly advances in skill. He is one of the apprentices that Zari often has go train with Shaialis to advance their lightsaber skills beyond what she can teach as Zari relies so heavily on Force combat. Eventually, he becomes a very lethal warrior with a strict code and intense loyalty that’s a bit worrying to some of the dark council members who think Zari is getting too powerful too quick.
